Ekta Khosla is an Indian actress and former model who worked in Kannada, Telugu and Tamil-language films.
She worked as a model in Mumbai. [1] In 2004, at the Pond's Femina Miss India contest, she won Sony My Miss India title. [2] She made her Kannada debut with Thunta (2005) co-starring Balaji. A critic wrote that she "does not impress but looks good in the song sequences". [3] In 2006, she won Miss Beautiful Hair at Feminia Miss India. [4] In 2007, she made her Telugu debut with Poramboku . Regarding her performance, a critic wrote that "another major minus is the heroine. She had neither a good physique, nor glamour".[ citation needed ] She played a minor role in her second Kannada film Gaja (2008). [5] She made her Tamil debut with Mundhinam Paartheney (2010) in which she played salsa trainer. [6] Her co-star Sanjay helped her learn Tamil for the film.[ citation needed ] A critic wrote that "Out of the three ladies, Ektha has more footage and delivers well". [7]
