Eleanor Bulut Begtang is a Filipina politician from the province of Apayao,Philippines. She is a former mayor of Calanasan from 2001 to 2010. And also the former governor of Apayao in northern Philippines from 2019 to 2022. [1] She was elected as a governor in 2019 after she completed her three allowable term as a congresswoman of Apayao from 2010 to 2019. [2] [3] She is currently the representative of Apayao,having been elected in 2022.
Apayao,officially the Province of Apayao,is a landlocked province in the Philippines in the Cordillera Administrative Region in Luzon. Kabugao serves as its capital. The provincial capitol and its associated offices are located at the New Government Center in Luna.
Kalinga,officially the Province of Kalinga,is a landlocked province in the Philippines situated within the Cordillera Administrative Region in Luzon. Its capital is Tabuk and borders Mountain Province to the south,Abra to the west,Isabela to the east,Cagayan to the northeast,and Apayao to the north. Elias Cayaba Bulut Jr. is a Filipino politician and the current governor of Apayao province. A member of the Nationalist People's Coalition,he has been elected to three terms as a Member of the House of Representatives of the Philippines,representing the Lone District of Apayao. First elected in 2001,he was re-elected in 2004 and 2007. He was a former mayor of calanasan from 1998 to 2001. And also a former vice-mayor of calanasan from 1995 to 1998.

The district is currently represented in the 19th Congress by Eleonor Bulut Begtang of the Nationalist People's Coalition (NPC).
