Elena Herzenberg (born 24 June 1979) is a retired German high jumper.
She finished fourth at the 2001 European U23 Championships and thirteenth at the 2001 World Indoor Championships. She also competed at the 2002 European Indoor Championships, the 2002 European Championships and the 2003 World Indoor Championships without reaching the final.
She became German champion in 2002 and German indoor champion in 2001 and 2003; here she also won silver medals in 1999 and 2002. She represented the club ABC Ludwigshafen. [1] [2]
Her personal best jump was 1.91 metres, achieved in May 2002 in Zweibrücken. [3]
Carolina Evelyn Klüft is a retired Swedish track and field athlete who competed in the heptathlon, pentathlon, long jump and triple jump. She was an Olympic Champion, having won the heptathlon title in 2004. She was also a three-time World heptathlon champion, World Indoor pentathlon champion, a two-time European heptathlon champion and a two-time European Indoor pentathlon champion. Klüft is the only athlete ever to win three consecutive world titles in the heptathlon. She was unbeaten in 22 heptathlon and pentathlon competitions from 2002 to 2007, her entire combined events career as a senior athlete, winning nine consecutive gold medals in major championships.
Ulrike Nasse-Meyfarth is a German former high jumper. She won the Olympic title twice, in 1972 and 1984. She is the youngest Olympic champion ever in women's high jump, and at the time of her 1984 triumph, she also was the oldest ever.
Rosemarie "Rosi" Ackermann is a German former high jumper, Olympic champion and multiple world record holder. In Berlin on 26 August 1977, she became the first female high jumper to clear a height of two metres.
Tatyana Romanovna Lebedeva is a Russian track and field athlete who competes in both the long jump and triple jump events. She is one of the most successful athletes in the disciplines, having won gold medals at Olympic, world and European levels. She has a long jump best of 7.33 m and held the then indoor world record mark of 15.36 m in the triple jump. In 2017 she was banned for doping.

Alina Astafei is a Romanian-German track and field athlete who attained German citizenship in 1995. She was one of the world's leading high jumpers in the 1990s. Representing Romania, she became the 1992 Olympic silver medallist, while representing Germany, she won a silver medal at the 1995 World Championship and the 1995 world indoor title.

Andrea Reichstein or Andrea Bienias is a German athlete. She competed in the women's high jump at the 1980 Summer Olympics. She cleared 1m 91 cm and was placed sixth. She married the decathlete Gert Bienias in 1981. She was placed first in the European Athletics Indoor Championships in 1986.
