Elisa Cecchetti ( born 21 August 1995) an Italian softball player. She competed at the 2020 Summer Olympics. [1] [2]

She played for Tallahassee Community College, and University of South Carolina, Upstate. [3] [4] She plays for Bollate Softball 1969. [2]

Softball at the 2020 Summer Olympics Olympic softball tournament

Softball was featured at the 2020 Summer Olympics in Tokyo for the first time since the 2008 Summer Olympics. The tournament consisted of six teams. Baseball/softball was one of five sports added to the program of the 2020 Summer Olympics only. The first six opening round games were played at Fukushima Azuma Baseball Stadium in an effort to highlight Fukushima's recovery from the 2011 Fukushima Daiichi nuclear disaster, while the remaining games were played at Yokohama Stadium. Softball will not return in 2024.

The 1981 AIAW Women's College slow-pitch softball championship was held near Raleigh, North Carolina on May 14–16. Thirteen college softball teams met in the first AIAW national slow-pitch softball tournament. The AIAW conducted only two slow-pitch softball national championships, in 1981 and 1982, as the NCAA sought to and eventually did vanquish the women's collegiate athletic organization.

Jessica "Jessie" Lynn Warren is an American, former collegiate All-American, professional softball player. She played college softball for the Florida State Seminoles, winning the 2018 Women's College World Series national title as a senior, and was subsequently named Most Outstanding Player for the series.

The 2020 South Carolina Gamecocks softball team represents the University of South Carolina in the 2020 NCAA Division I softball season. The Gamecocks play their home games at Carolina Softball Stadium.
