Elisabeth Ingvaldsen (born 22 July 1973) [1] is a Norwegian orienteering competitor and World champion. [2] [3] She won a gold medal in the 1999 World Orienteering Championships with the Norwegian relay team. [4] She received a silver medal in 1997 and bronze medals in 2001, 2003 and 2004. [2]
She won an individual bronze medal in sprint at the 2004 World Orienteering Championships. [5]
The World Orienteering Championships is an international orienteering competition which has been organized by the International Orienteering Federation (IOF) since 1966. The World Orienteering Championships is considered to be the most prestigious competition in competitive orienteering. The races are contested between members of the IOF, which are each aligned to a National Olympic Committee.
Hilde Gjermundshaug Pedersen is a Norwegian cross-country skier. Her first Olympic medal was a silver 4 × 5 km relay at the 2002 Winter Olympics in Salt Lake City. At the 2006 Winter Olympics in Turin, she took the bronze medal in the 10 km classical interval start event. Pedersen is the oldest woman ever to win a cross country skiing World Cup race, which she did at age 41 in January 2006 in Otepää, Estonia.
Janne Juhani Salmi is a Finnish orienteering competitor and world champion. He won the short distance at the 1997 World Orienteering Championships, and a gold medal in the relay at the 2001 World Orienteering Championships. He won a total of three individual world championship medals and four relay medals, and won the Jukola relay three times with the club Turun Suunnistajat.
Hanne Sandstad is a Norwegian orienteering competitor and World Champion.
Øystein Kristiansen is a Norwegian orienteering competitor and World champion. He won a gold medal both in the 2004 and the 2005 World Orienteering Championships with the Norwegian Relay team. He received an individual bronze medal in the middle distance at the 2003 World Orienteering Championships. He won the Jukola relay in 2000 and 2003.
Anders Nordberg is a Norwegian orienteering competitor. He received a bronze medal at the 2004 World Orienteering Championship, and again a bronze medal in 2007. He finished second in the overall World Cup 2007.
Magne Dæhli is a Norwegian orienteering competitor, ski-orienteer, and cross-country skier. His achievements include five medals in the relay at the World Orienteering Championships, of which three are gold medals. His best individual performances include a silver medal in the long distance from the European Orienteering Championships, and a bronze medal in the middle distance from the 2019 World Orienteering Championships.
Carl Henrik Bjørseth is a Norwegian orienteering competitor. He received a silver medal in the classic course at the 1999 World Orienteering Championships, and a bronze medal in 2001. He received a silver medal in the relay event in 2001, together with Bernt Bjørnsgaard, Tore Sandvik and Bjørnar Valstad.

Linda Antonsen is a Norwegian orienteering competitor. She competed at the 2001 World Orienteering Championships in Tampere, where she placed 11th in the sprint, and won a bronze medal in the relay event together with Birgitte Husebye, Elisabeth Ingvaldsen and Hanne Staff.

Päivi Tommola is a Finnish mountain bike orienteering competitor, World Champion and European Champion. She won individual gold medals at the 2002 and 2005 World Championships, and gold medals in the relay in 2002, 2004 and 2007.
Michaela Gigon is an Austrian mountain bike orienteer and several times world champion. She has competed at all World MTB Orienteering Championships from 2002 to 2010, won individual gold medals in 2004, 2005, 2006, 2007 and 2010, and in relay in 2009.
Christine Schaffner is a Swiss mountain bike orienteer and world champion. She has participated in all seven World MTB Orienteering Championships from 2004 to 2010, and won gold medals in the long distance four times, in 2006, 2008, 2009 and 2010.
Adrian Jackson is an Australian mountain bike orienteering competitor and World Champion. He has won individual gold medals at the 2004, 2008, 2009 and 2010 World MTB Orienteering Championships.
Ida Bobach is a Danish orienteering competitor who was Junior World Champion in 2009, and became triple Junior World Champion from 2010, when she won the sprint, long distance and the relay. She represents the club OK Pan Århus, and since 2007, has received training from Danish national coach Lars Lindstrøm. In 2015 she won gold medals at the World Championships in the long and Relay.
Tim Robertson is a New Zealand orienteering competitor. He won the gold medal in the sprint course at the Junior World Orienteering Championships in 2014, and 2015.
