Elizabeth Yin Yin Yue is a Singaporean sports sailor. [2] At the 2012 Summer Olympics, she competed in the Women's Laser Radial class, finishing in 24th place. She also competed in the same event at the 2016 Summer Olympics, finishing in 26th place. [3] She has also competed in two sailing World Championships (2011, 2014), six Laser Radial World Championships (2008, 2010, 2012, 2013, 2015 and 2016) and two Byte-class World Championships (2005 and 2006). Philipine van Aanholt is a female sailor from Curaçao, competing mainly in the Laser Radial class. She is a two-time Women World Champion in non-Olympic classes. In 2008 and 2009 she was chosen Curaçao's Youth Sports Women of the year. After the National Olympic Committee of the Netherlands Antilles lost its recognition by the International Olympic Committee following the dissolution of the Netherlands Antilles in 2010, van Aanholt was allowed to participate in the 2012 Summer Olympics as an Independent Olympic Athlete. In 2016, she represented neighboring island Aruba at the Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro. She was Aruba's flag bearer at the opening ceremony of the 2015 Pan American Games.

Lo trained throughout her sporting career for the Singapore Sailing Federation, under the tutelage of her personal coach Brett Beyer, a six-time Laser Apprentice Master world champion from Australia.

Katarzyna Szotyńska, also known as Katarzyna Deberny, is a Polish former sailor who specialized in the Laser Radial class. She represented her country Poland at the 2008 Summer Olympics and came closest to the medal haul in the final race of her signature fleet, finishing in ninth place. Outside her Olympic career, Szotyńska collected a total of five gold medals in a major international regatta, spanning four editions of the World Championships and the 2005 Summer Universiade in İzmir, Turkey. A senior member of the sailing roster at the University of Warsaw's sport academy, Szotyńska trained most of her competitive sporting career under the tutelage of her personal coach and brother Bartłomiej.
