Elvis Dominguez is an American college baseball coach and former shortstop, who is the current head baseball coach of the Bradley Braves. He is the 15th head coach all time for the Bradley Braves, and in 2015 lead the Bradley Braves to their first regional in 40 years.
Dominguez grew up in Cienfuegos, Cuba. He enrolled at Creighton University to play college baseball for the Creighton Bluejays baseball team. [1]
As a freshman at Creighton University in 1983, Dominguez had a .237 batting average, a .462 on-base percentage (OBP) and a .339 SLG. [2]
As a sophomore in 1984, Dominguez batted .304 with a .511 SLG, 4 home runs and 20 RBIs. [3]
In the 1985 season as a junior, Dominguez hit 3 home runs and 9 doubles. [4]
Dominguez had his best season as a senior in 1986, having career highs in doubles (13), home runs (8), RBIs (38), batting average (.348) and slugging (.613). [5]
In 1987, Dominguez became a graduate assistant for Creighton. After two seasons with the Bluejays, he accepted the head coaching position at Omaha Central High School. Dominguez lead Omaha Central for three seasons and, serving as a Spanish teacher, returned to Creighton as an assistant. [6] He then spent 4 years as an assistant at the University of Iowa, where he instructed infielders, hitting and recruiting. [7]
On August 13, 2001, Dominguez was introduced as the head coach for Eastern Kentucky Colonels. [8]
On June 24, 2008, Dominguez was named the head coach at Bradley. [9] During the 2015 season, he guided the Braves back to the NCAA Tournament for the first time since 1968. [10]
In September 2018, Dominguez was invited to the White House by President Trump as an influential Hispanic person in the United States. [11]

The Creighton Bluejays, or Jays, are the athletic teams that represent Creighton University, a Jesuit/Catholic University in Omaha, Nebraska, United States. They compete in NCAA Division I in the Big East Conference.
Greg McDermott is an American basketball coach who has been the head coach of the Creighton Bluejays men's basketball team since 2010. Previously, McDermott served as the head coach at Wayne State College, North Dakota State, Northern Iowa, and Iowa State. He is the father of NBA player Doug McDermott.
The Creighton Bluejays men's basketball team represents Creighton University of the NCAA Division I college basketball. They currently compete in the Big East Conference having joined the conference following the Big East conference realignment in 2013. The Bluejays play their home games at CHI Health Center Omaha in Omaha, Nebraska. Creighton finished sixth nationally in home attendance, averaging 17,048 fans per home game in 2014–15.

Darin Cortland Ruf is an American professional baseball first baseman, outfielder, and designated hitter for the New York Mets of Major League Baseball (MLB). Ruf was born in Omaha, Nebraska, and played at Westside High School. Subsequently, he attended Creighton University, excelled playing baseball there, and was named the 2007 Missouri Valley Conference (MVC) Player of the Year.
The Creighton Bluejays men's soccer team represents Creighton University in NCAA men's Division I soccer competitions. They compete in the Big East Conference and have risen to prominence in collegiate men's soccer in the last few decades having gone to the NCAA Division I Men's Soccer Tournament in 22 of the previous 23 seasons, going back to 1992, with five appearances in the College Cup semifinals and one appearance in the National Championship Match. In conference play, the Bluejays have won 13 conference regular season championships and 13 conference tournament championships; the most recent being the 2014 Big East Conference Regular Season Championship. Creighton is the only soccer program in the nation to have at least one athlete taken in every Major League Soccer (MLS) draft from 1996 to 2014. They are currently coached by Johnny Torres.
Edwin Servais is an American college baseball coach and small-ball connoisseur, currently the head coach at Creighton University, a member of the Big East Conference in NCAA Division I. He has held the position since July 2003, and has led the Bluejays to four appearances in the NCAA Tournament. "Niner" celebrated his 600th career win with the Bluejays on April 1, 2022 with a shower in his favorite beverage, Coca-Cola.

The 2018–19 Creighton Bluejays men's basketball team represented Creighton University in the 2018–19 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. The Bluejays were led by ninth-year head coach Greg McDermott and played their home games at the newly-named CHI Health Center Omaha, as members of the Big East Conference. They finished the season 20–15, 9–9 in Big East play to finish in a four-way tie for third place. As the No. 5 seed in the Big East tournament, they lost to Xavier in the quarterfinals. They received a bid to the National Invitation Tournament as the No. 2 seed in the TCU bracket where they defeated Loyola and Memphis before losing to TCU in the quarterfinals.

The 2000–01 Creighton Bluejays men's basketball team represented Creighton University during the 2000–01 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. The Bluejays, led by head coach Dana Altman, played their home games at the Omaha Civic Auditorium. The Jays finished with a 24-8 record, and won the Missouri Valley Conference regular season title to earn an at-large bid to the 2001 NCAA tournament.
