Conference realignment

Two schools transitioned from NCAA Division II to Division I after the 2024 season. [1]

A total of 18 baseball-sponsoring schools changed conferences after the 2024 season.

The 2025 season was the last for six Division I baseball schools in their current conferences.

The 2025 season was also the last for New Haven in the Division II Northeast-10 Conference. The school started a transition to Division I in July 2025 as a new member of the Northeast Conference. [20]
