The High Point Panthers baseball team represents High Point University, which is located in High Point, North Carolina. The Panthers are an NCAA Division I college baseball program that competes in the Big South Conference. They began competing in Division I in 2000 and joined the Big South Conference the same season.

Contents

The High Point Panthers play all home games on campus at George S. Erath Field. Over their 20 seasons in the Big South Conference, they have played in 17 Big South Tournaments, advancing to the finals in 2018 where they fell to top-seed Campbell.

Since the program's inception in 1933, three Panthers have gone on to play in Major League Baseball: infielder Dick Culler and relief pitchers Cody Allen and Jaime Schultz.

The Campbell Fighting Camels baseball team is Campbell University's NCAA Division I baseball team. The team plays its home games on campus at Jim Perry Stadium, named for former Campbell Baseball and Basketball player Jim Perry. Prior to 2012, the venue was known as Taylor Field. The team currently competes as members of the Big South Conference. The Fighting Camels competed in the Big South until 1994 when they joined the Atlantic Sun Conference. They returned to the Big South in 2011. Notable alumni include Jim Perry, Ryan Thompson and Cedric Mullins.

The High Point Panthers are the 16 varsity athletic teams that represent High Point University (HPU) in High Point, North Carolina, United States. All of HPU's varsity teams compete at the NCAA Division I level. All sports except men's lacrosse compete in the Big South Conference. The men's lacrosse team joined the Southern Conference July 1, 2014. The Panthers joined Division I in 1999, after having been NCAA Division II and being members of the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) prior to 1992. HPU was a founding member of the North State Conference, which is now the NCAA Division II Conference Carolinas.

The Cal State Bakersfield baseball team represents California State University, Bakersfield in the NCAA Division I college baseball. Cal State Bakersfield plays its home games on Hardt Field on the campus of California State University, Bakersfield in Bakersfield, California. The Roadrunners have played in one NCAA tournament. Over their eight seasons in the Western Athletic Conference, they have won one WAC regular season title and one WAC tournament. The Roadrunners compete in the Big West Conference and are led by head coach Jeremy Beard.

The Dallas Baptist Patriots baseball team represents Dallas Baptist University, which is located in Dallas, Texas. The Patriots are an NCAA Division I college baseball program that competes in Conference USA. They began competing in Division I in 2004 and joined the Missouri Valley Conference in 2014 after only one season with the Western Athletic Conference. They are the only Dallas Baptist program in Division I and Conference USA. All other Dallas Baptist programs compete in Division II's Lone Star Conference. The 2012 Big South Conference baseball tournament was held from May 22 through 26. The top eight regular season finishers of the ten eligible teams met in the double-elimination tournament which was held at George S. Erath Field at Coy O. Williard Baseball Stadium on the campus of High Point University in High Point, NC. Presbyterian was not eligible for postseason play in any sport until the 2012–2013 academic year due to its transition to Division I. Top seeded Coastal Carolina won their thirteenth championship and earned the conference's automatic bid to the 2012 NCAA Division I baseball tournament.

The UT Martin Skyhawks baseball team represents the University of Tennessee at Martin, which is located in Martin, Tennessee. The Skyhawks are an NCAA Division I college baseball program that competes in the Ohio Valley Conference. They began competing in Division I in 1993 and joined the Ohio Valley Conference the same season.
