Burt Kahn Court is a 2,000-seat multi-purpose arena in Hamden, Connecticut. It was the home of the Quinnipiac University Bobcats basketball team from 1969 to 2006 until the TD Bank Sports Center was opened. The Bobcats held a 254–184 record while playing at the facility. It is the current home of Bobcats volleyball. The facility was renovated in 2002, with new scoreboards and a new wood surface being added.
Scott David Burrell is an American basketball coach and former player who is currently the men's basketball head coach at Southern Connecticut State University. He has played internationally and was also a professional baseball player. In 1990, Burrell was drafted by the Toronto Blue Jays of MLB. He played in Minor League Baseball during the 1990 and 1991 seasons. After ending his baseball career, he was drafted in 1993 by the Charlotte Hornets of the NBA. He was later traded to the Golden State Warriors and then the Chicago Bulls, where he won a championship ring. He next played with the New Jersey Nets and then finished his NBA career with the Hornets in 2000–01. He played in other professional basketball leagues through the 2005–06 season.

The Bobcats have competed in ECAC Hockey since the 2005-2006 season where they replaced Vermont when the Catamounts moved to Hockey East. Prior to that season the Bobcats competed in College Hockey America for the 2004-2005 season, played as a Division I Independent for the 2002-2003 and 2003-2004 seasons, and in the ECAC Division I Eastern division for the 2001-2002 season.

As the No. 7 seed at the MAAC tournament, they defeated No. 10 seed Siena and upset No. 2 seed Canisius to advance to the semifinals where they lost to No. 6 seed Fairfield.

As the No. 3 seed in the 2019 MAAC tournament, they were defeated by No. 6 seed Monmouth 92–98 in the quarterfinals. On March 13, 2019, they accepted an invitation to the CIT tournament, where they played NJIT in the opening round on March 18, 2019, losing 81–92.

Kevin Marfo is an American professional basketball player for Fortitudo Agrigento in Italy's Serie A2 league. He played college basketball at several universities, including Quinnipiac, George Washington and Texas A&M. He was the NCAA Division I season rebounds leader in 2019–20.
