The Bucknell Bison baseball team represents Bucknell University in NCAA Division I college baseball. The team participates in the Patriot League (PL), having joined as a founding member in 1991. Bucknell has played baseball since 1886. Prior to playing baseball in the Patriot League, they played in the Middle Atlantic Conferences (1965–1974) and the East Coast Conference (1975–1990). The Bison are currently led by head coach Scott Heather. The team plays its home games at Eugene B. Depew Field located on the university's campus. [2]

The Bison, led by fifth year head coach Aaron Roussell, played their home games at Sojka Pavilion and were members of the Patriot League. They finished the season 25–8, 17–1 in Patriot League play to share the Patriot League regular season title with Army. They advanced to the semifinals of the Patriot League women's tournament where they lost to Loyola (MD). As champs of the Patriot League who failed to win their conference tournament, they received an automatic bid to the Women's National Invitation Tournament they defeated Akron in the first round before losing to Michigan in the second round.

The 2016–17 Bucknell Bison men's basketball team represented Bucknell University during the 2016–17 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. The Bison, led by second-year head coach Nathan Davis, played their home games at Sojka Pavilion in Lewisburg, Pennsylvania as members of the Patriot League. They finished the regular season 23–8, 15–3 in Patriot League play to win the regular season championship, their third straight title and sixth in seven years. As the No. 1 seed in the Patriot League tournament, they defeated Army, Navy, and Lehigh to win the tournament championship. As a result, the Bison received the conference's automatic bid to the NCAA tournament as the No. 13 seed in the West region. There they lost in the first round to West Virginia.

In the round of 32, the Bison were beaten by No. 6 seed Wisconsin.

The 2005–06 Bucknell Bison men's basketball team represented Bucknell University during the 2005–06 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. The Bison, led by head coach Pat Flannery, played their home games at Sojka Pavilion and were members of the Patriot League. They finished the season 27–5, 14–0 in Patriot League play to win the conference regular season title by three games. They won the Patriot League tournament to earn an automatic bid to the 2006 NCAA tournament where they defeated No. 8 seed Arkansas in the opening round. In the round of 32, the Bison were beaten by No. 1 seed Memphis. This was the second straight season the Bison reached the round of 32 of the NCAA Tournament.
