The Embassy of Kosovo in Ottawa is the official diplomatic mission of the Kosovo in Canada. [1] [2] The embassy is located at 470 Somerset Street West, Ottawa, Ontario, K1R 5J8. Kosovo also maintains a consulate in Toronto. [3]
Foreign relations of Latvia are the primary responsibility of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Today's Republic of Latvia regards itself as a continuation of the 1918–1940 republic. After the declaration on the restoration of its full independence on August 21, 1991, Latvia became a member of the United Nations on September 17, 1991, and is a signatory to a number of UN organizations and other international agreements. Latvia welcomes further cooperation and integration with NATO, European Union, OECD and other Western organizations. It also seeks more active participation in UN peacekeeping efforts worldwide.
Austria–Kosovo relations refer to the bilateral relations of Austria and Kosovo. Kosovo has an embassy in Vienna and Austria has an embassy in Pristina.
Belgium–Kosovo relations refer to the bilateral relations of the Kingdom of Belgium and the Republic of Kosovo. Kosovo has an embassy in Brussels and Belgium has a Liaison Office in Pristina.
Kosovo–United Kingdom relations are foreign relations between the Republic of Kosovo and the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland. When Kosovo declared its independence from Serbia on 17 February 2008, the United Kingdom became one of the first countries to announce the official recognition of a sovereign Kosovo on 18 February 2008. The United Kingdom has had an embassy in Pristina since 5 March 2008. Kosovo has had an embassy in London since 1 October 2008. The two countries have very good and friendly relations.
Kosovo–Slovenia relations are foreign relations between the Republic of Kosovo and the Republic of Slovenia. Kosovo declared its independence from Serbia on 17 February 2008 and Slovenia recognised it on 5 March 2008. The diplomatic relations were established on 8 April 2008. Slovenia has had an embassy in Pristina since 15 May 2008. The first ambassador of Kosovo in Slovenia has been Anton Berisha, who handed his credentials to the President of Slovenia in January 2010.
Kosovo–North Macedonia relations are diplomatic relations between the Republic of Kosovo and the Republic of North Macedonia.
Kosovo–United Arab Emirates relations are foreign relations between Kosovo and the United Arab Emirates.
Israel–Kosovo relations refer to bilateral relations between Israel and Kosovo. Kosovo declared its independence from Serbia on 17 February 2008. Israel and Kosovo agreed on 4 September 2020, as part of negotiations for the Kosovo and Serbia Economic Normalization agreements, to mutually recognize each other. It was initially reported that the mutual recognition had not yet gone into effect at that point, and Israel's recognition of Kosovo was expected to be formally declared "in the coming weeks". However, on 21 September the ambassador of Israel to Serbia, Yahel Vilan, confirmed that Israel had indeed recognized Kosovo on 4 September 2020. The two countries established diplomatic relations on 1 February 2021. On 14 March 2021 Kosovo officially opened its Embassy in Jerusalem.
Japan's ambassador in Rome is accredited to Albania, while an honorary consulate in Tirana assists Japanese interests in Albania.
Albania and Egypt have cordial and cooperative relations. Albania has an embassy in Cairo, and Egypt has an embassy in Tirana. Diplomatic relations between Albania and Egypt were established in 1958. Both countries are members of Organisation of Islamic Cooperation.
Albania–Slovenia relations are diplomatic relations between the Republic of Albania and the Republic of Slovenia. Albania has an embassy in Ljubljana and Slovenia has an embassy in Tirana. Both countries established diplomatic relations on 9 March 1992.
The People's Socialist Republic of Albania joined the United Nations on 14 December 1955, and has participated in several UN peacekeeping operations. The current Representative of Albania in the UN is Mr. Ferit Hoxha. Albania is a non-permanent member of the 15-country UN Security Council for the two-year term (2022–2023).
Albania has an embassy in Lisbon and 3 honorary consulates in Porto, Funchal and in the island of Madeira. Portugal has an honorary consulate in Tirana. The history of diplomatic relations of Albania and Portugal dates back to 1922, when Portugal recognized Albania's independence on May 25, 1922.
The Liaison Office of Kosovo in Belgrade is a representative mission of the Government of Kosovo in Belgrade, Serbia.
