Emil Rizk is an Egyptian Olympic boxer. He represented his country in the lightweight division at the 1992 Summer Olympics. He lost his first bout against Ronald Chavez. [1]

Younan Labib Rizk was a prominent Egyptian historian and literary figure. He was a professor of history at Ain Shams University in Cairo; and was also appointed a member of the History Committee of the Supreme Council for Culture. He was formerly Director of Historical Studies at the Institute of Research and Arab Studies. Rizk was a prolific writer with a weekly column appearing in Al-Ahram newspaper where he founded and headed the History Studies Centre. He was the author of several esteemed publications which rendered him an authority on Modern History, which was the subject of his MA and PhD degrees in 1963 and 1967 respectively. Rizk received numerous awards and medals, including State Incentive Award in Social Sciences in 1995. On the national level, he played a significant role in the dispute over Taba with Israel in 1986–88. The issue was subject to international arbitration and was ruled in Egypt's favor.
Emanuel "Emil" Perška was a Croatian footballer. He was born in Zagreb and spent the majority of his career with Građanski Zagreb, with whom he won three Yugoslav championships in the 1920s. He was also a member of the Yugoslav squad at the 1920, 1924 and 1928 Olympic tournaments.
Salom Rizk was a Syrian-American author, best known for his 1943 immigrant autobiography, Syrian Yankee, perhaps the best-known piece of Arab American literature in the middle part of the century. The book has been called "a classic of the immigrant biography genre", especially for the way Rizk's story portrays the American Dream and the virtues of cultural assimilation at the expense of his home country, which he finds loathsome when he returns for a visit. Rizk became well known enough that Reader's Digest sponsored him on a lecture tour around the United States as "the quintessential American immigrant". He also sponsored a drive for the Save the Children Federation, using advertisements in such magazines as Boys' Life to request families send their extra pencils, so that these could be donated to needy school-children around the world as a way of promoting freedom and democracy and fighting tyranny.
Emil Ratzenhofer was an Austrian pair skater. Competing with his sister Herta Ratzenhofer, he won five gold medals at the Austrian Figure Skating Championships. The pair won the bronze medal at the European Figure Skating Championships in 1948 and 1949. They finished ninth at the 1948 Winter Olympics.

Euil "Snitz" Snider was an American sprinter. He competed in the men's 400 metres at the 1928 Summer Olympics. He graduated from Oak Grove High School in Jefferson County, Alabama and was on the track team at Auburn University. He was the head football coach at Bessemer High School from 1933 to 1963 and was later inducted into the Alabama Sports Hall of Fame. Snider died on February 9, 1978. In 1972, Bessemer Stadium where he had coached the Tigers for thirty years was renamed "Snitz Snider Stadium" in his honor.
