Nur Indah Cintra Sukma Munsyi (born 23 September 1957 in Banyuwangi, Indonesia), commonly known as Emilia Contessa is a former Indonesian pop singer and actress. She was a member of the Regional Representative Council, representing East Java, for the 2014-2019 period. [1]

Biography

Early life

Emilia was born Nur Indah Cintra Sukma Munsyi in Banyuwangi on 23 September 1957 to Anna Suriani, a Javanese mother and Hasan Ali, a Pakistani-Madurese father. She is the eldest of the couple's three children. [2]

She started singing at the age of five and her mother became her manager. [3]

Her niece Maharasyi competed in the Voice.

After serving as a member of the Regional Representative Council for the 2014-2019 period, she stood for election for the national parliament, on the ticket of the National Mandate Party, but was not elected. [4]

Darussalam was an Indonesian actor who appeared in more than seventy films in his forty-year career. Born in Bengkulu, he studied to be nurse before migrating to theatre during the Japanese occupation of the Dutch East Indies, marrying Netty Herawaty while with the troupe Irama Masa. The couple spent the remainder of the occupation and the ensuing revolution touring the archipelago with a number of troupes. Marjolein Tambayong, better known by her stage name Rima Melati, is an Indonesian actress and singer. Born in Tondano, Sulawesi, by the 1950s she had moved to Jakarta and become a model. After joining the girl group The Baby Dolls and taking a minor acting role, in 1961 Melati starred in her first film, Kasih Tak Sampai. Since then she has appeared in almost a hundred feature films, including works by Wim Umboh, Sjumandjaja, and Teguh Karya. For this oeuvre she has received multiple awards, including a PWI Award for Best Actress for Noda Tak Berampun, a Citra Award for Best Leading Actress for Intan Berduri, and five nominations for the Citra Award for Best Supporting Actress.

Aminah Cendrakasih Indonesian actress

Aminah Tjendrakasih is an Indonesian actress best known for her appearance as Lela in the television series Si Doel Anak Sekolahan. Beginning her career in her teenage years, Cendrakasih had her first starring role in 1955's Ibu dan Putri. She has since acted in more than a hundred feature films. Abdul Hamid Arief was an Indonesian actor who appeared in more than 120 films. Born in Batavia, Dutch East Indies, he started his acting career in theatre before migrating to film with 1948's Anggrek Bulan.
