TV5 is a Philippine free-to-air television and radio network headquartered in Mandaluyong, with additional studios in Novaliches, Quezon City. It serves as the flagship network of TV5 Network, Inc., which is owned by MediaQuest Holdings, the multimedia subsidiary of the telecommunications conglomerate PLDT. TV5 is popularly known as "The 'Kapatid' Network", employing the Filipino term for "sibling", a branding that was introduced in 2010.
EatBulaga! is a Philippine television variety show broadcast by Radio Philippines Network, ABS-CBN, GMA Network and TV5. Originally hosted by Tito Sotto, Vic Sotto, Joey de Leon, Chiqui Hollmann and Richie D'Horsie, it premiered on Radio Philippines Network on July 30, 1979 on the network's afternoon line up. MediaQuest Holdings, Inc. is a Philippine media company based in Mandaluyong. It is involved in radio and television broadcasting, as well as direct-to-home satellite services and print media. Though an affiliate of telecommunications company PLDT, MediaQuest is owned by the former's Beneficial Trust Fund, a retirement pension plan funded through its Philippine Depository Receipts. One Sports is currently carried through analog via DWNB UHF TV Channel 41 in Metro Manila and other relay and affiliate stations nationwide, and as a digital television subchannel in select areas of the country. It operates Mondays to Saturdays from 5:00 AM to 12:00 MN and Sundays from 6:00 AM to 1:00 AM, as well as on truncated hours during the Paschal Triduum or 24/7 during the 2024 Summer Olympics. However, starting Holy Week 2024, it continues to sign off from Maundy Thursday from 12:00 mn to Easter Sunday at 6:00 am.
