En Tiempo Real is a live album by Peruvian singer-songwriter Gian Marco released by 11 y 6 Discos in 2010. It was the second live album of his career and first one to be released in DVD format. [1]

Background and Release

The album was a recorded during a special concert Gian Marco gave to his fans on October 22, 2010. [2] The album was well received by the public and critics praising it for its acoustic live music with no breaks or sound effects as well as for the way that Gian Marco was demonstrating his abilities with a Peruvian instrument such as a charango. [3] The concert was recorded in high definition. [4] The album was quickly certified gold in Perú. [5]

Commercial Performance

The album was a success in Perú where it was certified gold after just 2 weeks of its release and eventually certifying platinum. [6] It was released on December 10, 2010 and by the beginning of 2011 it had already sold 5,680 copies earning its gold certification and just 2 weeks later it earned a platinum certification once the album sales reached 10,000 copies. [7]

Tour

Gian Marco embarked on the En Tiempo Real Tour in order to promote the album which started in Latin America and continued onto the United States. [8] The U.S. leg began in Miami and continued onto New Jersey, Houston, and Seattle. [9]

Sasha, Benny y Erik are a pop supergroup from Mexico. The group was formed by 3 former members of the Mexican pop group Timbiriche, consisting of Sasha Sokol, Benny Ibarra and Erik Rubin who are close friends in real life. With much anticipation by their fans, Sasha, Benny and Erik released the live album Primera Fila: Sasha Benny Erik. The project has enjoyed much success with a national tour that started in late 2012 and has continued through much of 2014. The album has been certified triple platinum + gold in Mexico for sales exceeding 210,000 copies. Originally, the band performed 2 concerts at the National Auditorium in Mexico City in April 2013, but due to demand, they did two more concerts at the venue in September of that same year. In 2013, they released En Vivo desde el Auditorio Nacional, which went gold a few days after its release.
