End Like This is an EP by singer-songwriter Rocky Votolato. The EP consists of three B-sides from Votolato's 2006 album, Makers . Recorded in 2004, these songs sat hidden for nearly three years until they saw a digital release in 2007.

The Blood Brothers was an American post-hardcore band which formed in 1997. The group was based in Seattle's Eastside suburbs and released five full-length albums before their 2007 breakup, as well as numerous side projects on behalf of the members. They reunited for a series of shows surrounding and including FYF Fest in 2014.
Tomas Kalnoky is a Czechoslovakia-born American musician. He is the lead singer/guitarist and songwriter of the bands Streetlight Manifesto and Bandits of the Acoustic Revolution, and goes by the pseudonym Toh Kay as a solo performer. He is the former lead singer/guitarist for 3rd-wave ska band Catch 22, but left the band after making only one album to attend Savannah College of Art and Design in Savannah, Georgia, for visual art. According to the booklet of Somewhere in the Between, Kalnoky attended Rutgers University. He is the owner of Pentimento Music Company, a record company.
Pablo J. Hinojos-Gonzalez, also known as Paul Hinojos, is an American musician best known as the bass guitarist for At the Drive-In, and former touring member of The Mars Volta. He is also a former guitarist of Sparta.

Slender Means (2003–2010) was an indie rock band from Seattle, Washington. Their debut album, Neon & Ruin on Mt. Fuji Records, was released Tuesday, August 23, 2005, on Mt. Fuji Records. In 2007 they put out a five-song E.P. containing previously unreleased material and a live track from the 90.3 KEXP show, Audio Oasis. On November 15, 2009, they released their 2nd LP "Adrift In The Cosmos." The writing of their 3rd LP came to an abrupt halt at the end of 2010 when the band decided to take an extended hiatus until finally announcing they had officially broken up. Some of the other members are still busy playing in other projects. Eric Wennberg had a project called Mal de Mer, and more recently joined up with The Young Evils. Eric and Josh and Paul have also been recording some material in a new project called, Timbre Barons. Paul Pugliese is playing in the surfy, gypsy jazz trio "Johnny NordstrUm and the Retailers." Dave E. Martin joined up with the Pop/Rock band Black Whales in September 2010. He was asked to fill in on keyboards for a show after Mike Bayer decided to leave the band to focus on his other music projects. Black Whales released their debut full-length record "Shangri-La Indeed!"on June 28, 2011. Martin contributed keyboards to 6 tracks and a musical saw track that was looped at the beginning of the album's opening song. Sonny Votolato recently played bass on his brother Rocky's "Television Of Saints" record. In March 2012, Sonny, Paul and Dave reunited to form the new band "Bye Gones" with Drummer Abdon Valdez. Their first show was played at Sweet Lou's in North Seattle on August 18, 2012. Bye Gones was a very short lived project and came to an end around October 2012. However, Martin has continued to write songs for yet another project under the moniker, Ghost Pains along with Absolute Monarchs drummer Michael Stubz.

Chris Staples is an American indie rock musician originally from Pensacola, Florida, long based in Seattle, Washington. He released Panama, Burned and Blistered, Blackest Hair, Bluest Eyes, Badlands, and American Soft independently, before catching the attention of Seattle-based Barsuk Records, who re-released American Soft in 2014. Staples' second album on Barsuk, Golden Age, was released in 2016. His next album, Holy Moly, was released by Barsuk on June 28, 2019.

The album incorporates a number of folk elements but also contains clear strains of rock music. The major themes of the album include his relationship with his wife and his dedication to music. The album received very little press upon its release, going unmentioned by both the independent and mainstream music critic publications.

The album is characterized by sparse arrangements, focusing mainly on Votolato's voice and guitar work. Votolato's songwriting skills are on display in his most folk-sounding release to date.
Sharks Keep Moving were a short-lived Seattle rock band that formed in 1998. Make Do and Mend was an American post-hardcore band from West Hartford, Connecticut, that formed in 2006, who relocated to Boston, Massachusetts. They released 2 EPs on Panic Records, a split with Touché Amoré and three full-length albums. While technically members of "The Wave", along with La Dispute, Touché Amoré, Pianos Become the Teeth, and Defeater, the band has since clarified that "The Wave" was merely an inside joke between those bands and does not represent a particular movement or subgenre in post-hardcore.
