Enders Game is an American heavy metal band from Atlanta, Georgia.
Enders Game was formed in 2001 by guitarists David Merrill and Jarrod Johnson. [2] The original lineup included Kevin Freeman on vocals, Jeff Gardner on drums, and Ben Burch on bass. After just two shows with the band, and shortly before entering the studio to record the band's first EP, Game Over (2003), Burch left the band and was replaced by Shon Harp.
Game Over features 3 songs initially written by Merrill for his former band, Art of Submission. But the fourth and final track on the EP, "S.K.D. (Systematic Killing of the American Dream)," was the first collaboration between Merrill and Johnson, and remains one of the most popular songs in the band's set to this day. The song "Shedding Faith" made the top 20 on Rapture Radio's weekly request chart. [3]
The band attempted a full-length release in 2005 titled Pattern of Decay, but Gardner and Freeman both left the band (Freeman left to join Gnostic with former members of Atheist, including drummer Steve Flynn [4] ), and the album, although recorded, was never released. Gardner was replaced on drums by Daniel Burch, brother of former bassist Ben Burch, and current bassist Shon Harp took over vocals after Freeman's departure.
With the new lineup, the band recorded and released an EP titled Breathe New Life in 2006. Breathe features 6 tracks, including standouts "Splintered and Broken," and "Autumn Leaves." [5] Shortly after returning home from a brief Midwest tour in 2007, Burch announced he was leaving the band.
Following Burch's departure, the band began working on their next album. Kevin Talley, who at the time was drumming for fellow Atlanta-based metal act Dååth, was hired to record the songs, and in 2010 Enders Game released their first full-length album, What We’ve Lost. The album was recorded and engineered by Eyal Levi of Dååth, and also features guest guitar solos by Levi on the song "Holding On," and fellow Dååth guitarist Emil Werstler on the song "A Flawed Design". [6] Artwork for the album was created by artist Eliran Kantor.
Enders Game has performed with many well-known metal and hard rock acts, such as In Flames, Soilwork, Chimaira, Dååth, Unearth, Arsis, Angels of Babylon, Silent Civilian, Taproot and Straight Line Stitch, and they continue to perform, write and record. [7]
Melvins are an American rock band formed in 1983, in Montesano, Washington. Their early work was key to the development of both grunge and sludge metal. They originally performed as only a trio but later also sometimes appeared as a quartet with either two drummers or two bassists. Since 1984, vocalist and guitarist Buzz Osborne and drummer Dale Crover have been constant members. The band was named after a supervisor at a Thriftway in Montesano, where Osborne also worked as a clerk; "Melvin" was disliked by other employees, and the band's members felt it to be an appropriately ridiculous name.
Ancient is a Norwegian black metal band from Bergen, formed in 1992. The band released six full-length albums released by Metal Blade Records to date and a variety of mini-albums, EPs and special releases. Ancient used to have the classic raw black metal sound, similar to Darkthrone's works. Beginning with The Cainian Chronicle, they moved towards a more Nordic/atmospheric black metal sound, akin to Emperor and a cleaner production. After a period of turmoil concerning their line-up, they went on to add gothic-style instruments such as violins, a female vocalist, and synthesizers to their music.
Zounds are an English anarcho punk/post-punk band from Reading, Berkshire, England, formed in 1977. Originally they were part of the cassette culture movement, releasing material on the Fuck Off Records label, and were also involved in the squatting and free festival scene. The name of the band is derived from the old English minced oath "zounds", a contraction of "God's wounds", referring to the crucifixion wounds of Jesus Christ, formerly used as a mildly blasphemous oath.
Green Carnation is a Norwegian progressive metal band from Kristiansand, Norway, formed in 1990. Green Carnation's trend of music has continuously changed on every release one by one; from straight forward death metal in their demo, to death-doom, then a progressive doom metal sound, to an atmospheric gothic metal sound, to a melancholic hard rock sound and in 2006, went as far as to releasing an entirely acoustic album Acoustic Verses. The band released its first album in 14 years titled Leaves of Yesteryear on May 8, 2020, which marked a return to their earlier gothic progressive metal roots. A new single was composed, arranged, rehearsed and recorded during the COVID-19 pandemic, called "The World Without a View", and released digitally on December 18th 2020.

By 2002 the line-up was Cesium 137 on lead vocals, Diazanon on drums, Ethion on guitar, Endrin on bass guitar and Chlordane on keyboards. In 2009 the line-up had Miehs and Pope joined by Cain Cressall on vocals, Dan Quinlan on bass guitar and Robin Stone on drums. The group has issued three studio albums, Occasus (2004), n0n (2008), and Flesh Is Heir (2013). The group went on an indefinite hiatus in 2013, but reunited in 2020.

Their riffs reflect traditional Germanic melodies. Their lyrical themes focus on Germanic tales and Germanic mythology. Eyal Levi was born on May 22, 1979 in Cleveland, Ohio. Levi is the guitarist and co-writer for Roadrunner Records industrial/death metal band, Dååth. His father, Yoel Levi, is a well known conductor and is currently the music advisor to the Flemish Radio Orchestra and is the Principal Guest Conductor of the Israel Philharmonic Orchestra.

Overcome are an American Christian metalcore band. They come from Phoenix, Arizona. The band started making music in 1993 until their decade-long hiatus from 2000 to 2010, when they commenced making music again. Tooth & Nail Records released the band's first two albums, Blessed Are the Persecuted in 1996 and When Beauty Dies in 1997. Facedown Records has released the other albums from the band signed the band. They released Immortal Until Their Work Is Done in 1999, More Than Death in 2001, The Great Campaign of Sabotage in 2011, and No Reserves. No Retreats. No Regrets. in 2013. They were one of the first "Spirit-Filled Hardcore" bands, along with Unashamed, Focused, Strongarm, and Zao. They were the first band signed to Facedown Records. The band is playing at Facedown Fest 2017.
