Straight Line Stitch is an American metalcore band from Knoxville, Tennessee.
Straight Line Stitch initially was formed by Patrick Haynes and Seth Thacker in 1999 and issued an EP and a demo album before adding vocalist Alexis Brown from Clarksville, Tennessee to the band in 2003. [1] Brown sang on their self-released 2006 effort To Be Godlike and then on an EP entitled The Word Made Flesh for which they filmed a video for the single "Remission". The video's director, Dale Resteghini, owned the production company Raging Nation Films; in 2007 he formed a subsidiary label of Koch Records called Raging Nation Records, and Straight Line Stitch became the label's first signing. Their first nationally distributed album, When Skies Wash Ashore, appeared on the imprint in 2008, with another album, The Fight of Our Lives, arriving in 2011. The Fight of Our Lives reached No. 5 on the Billboard Heatseekers chart and No. 34 on the Top Independent Albums chart. On July 26, 2014, during The Dog Days Of Summer Tour, Straight Line Stitch released their self-titled EP, while announcing they are still working on an album. In 2016, bassist Jason White and Alexis Brown had a baby. [2]

They were nominated for a Juno Award for best new group in 2000, and received another Juno nomination for best video in 2002. Gob's most successful album is World According to Gob. Their best-selling songs to date are "I Hear You Calling", "Soda", and "Banshee Song". They have been featured in movies, TV shows, and many sporting video games such as NHL 2002, NHL 2003, NHL 2004 and Madden NFL 2003 with songs such as "Oh! Ellin", "I've Been Up These Steps", "Sick With You", "I Hear You Calling" and "Give Up the Grudge". The band has appeared at several music festivals, the most well-known being the Vans Warped Tour. Thacker is also a lead and rhythm guitarist for fellow Canadian rock band Sum 41.
3/5 is the first album by Les Savy Fav. It was released in 1997 by Self-Starter Foundation. The LP release came in a pack of shower caps and is fairly difficult to find, sometimes fetching high prices on eBay. Coincidentally, only three-fifths of the line-up on this album, the band's first, remain in the present-day line-up, as drummer Patrick Mahoney was replaced by Harrison Haynes before the group's second album, The Cat and the Cobra, and guitarist Gibb Slife left before the recording of the Emor: Rome Upside Down EP.
Embodyment was a Christian rock band from Arlington, Texas. The group formed in 1992 and were first known by the name Supplication where they originally played death metal, later turning to deathcore with the release of their debut album Embrace the Eternal, which in turn is credited as one of the earliest deathcore releases of all time. Following their debut full-length the band would completely abandon all their extreme metal elements thereafter, pursuing instead an alternative rock style with their album The Narrow Scope of Things and subsequently became lighter with each proceeding album.

Dichotomy, which was released in November 2008, sold around 2,300 copies in the United States in its first week of release, according to Nielsen Soundscan. The CD debuted at No. 18 on the Top New Artist Albums (Heatseekers) chart, which lists the best-selling albums by new and developing artists, defined as those who have never appeared in the top 100 of the Billboard 200. The band was part of the new wave of American heavy metal. After 2012's I Am, the band went on an indefinite hiatus. In 2022, however, the band reunited with the lineup of Jason Wisdom, Seth Hecox, and Brent “Duck” Duckett.

No Innocent Victim, or N.I.V., is a Christian hardcore punk band on Facedown Records. The band was formed in 1992 in San Diego, California. They released two albums, and then toured with Agnostic Front. In 1998 they signed to Victory Records and recorded the album Flesh and Blood. Many tours followed in the United States, Europe and Japan with bands like Agnostic Front, U.S. Bombs, Terror, Hatebreed, P.O.D., and Madball.

Kris Norris is an American musician. He is a former lead guitarist for heavy metal bands Scar the Martyr, Darkest Hour and Canadian metalcore band Threat Signal. He is also known for his stints as touring guitarist for God Forbid and Straight Line Stitch. Kris released a solo record "Icons of the Illogical" with The Kris Norris Projekt on Magna Carta Records in early 2009.
Seth Lakeman's fourth album, Poor Man's Heaven, was released on 30 June 2008, entering the UK Album Charts at number 8. Taking over 10 months to finalise, many of the tracks on the album have been part of Lakeman's live set since the second half of 2006, the initial tracks performed being 'Poor Man's Heaven' and 'Race to be King', but this expanded towards the end of the tour, with new tracks continuing to be previewed throughout 2007 and into 2008.
Your Choice Records was a German independent record label that was founded in 1988 by producer Tobby Holzinger. The label specialized in independent punk music, including live releases of German and other international acts. Holzinger provided a share of the record sale profit to various animal rights organisations.
Occupy This Album: 99 Songs for the 99 Percent is a four-disc compilation box set released in May 2012 through the record label Music for Occupy. The album concept, and initial production was initiated by Executive Producer Jason Samel. Jason Samel later recruited Producers Maegan Hayward, Alex Emanuel and Shirley Menard to assist with the project. The set consists of 99 songs inspired by or related to the Occupy movement. Proceeds from the album went "directly towards the needs of sustaining this growing movement."

Due to member changes and personal matters the band took a break from touring and recording to focus on their personal lives. During this hiatus, vocalist Josh Ashworth toured with the metalcore band Zao.
Loopflesh/Fleshloop is a split EP between English industrial metal band Godflesh and English rock band Loop. On side A of the 7-inch vinyl, Loop covers the song "Like Rats" by Godflesh, and on side B, Godflesh covers the song "Straight to Your Heart" by Loop. The palindrome "Rats Live On No Evil Star" appears etched into both sides of the record. Only a thousand copies were pressed.
Babaganoüj are an Australian indie rock band formed in 2011 in Brisbane by Charles Sale, Harriette Pillbeam, and Peter McDowell (drums). In 2011 after the dissolution of Sale's former band Yves Klein Blue in 2010, Sale released under the band's name an EP for free of old demos he recorded before the band was formed. In 2012, Jack Glesson joined the band as the new drummer, replacing McDowell. Following the release of their debut EP, Sife Lucks (2013), Ruby McGregor joined as the fourth member as the rhythm guitarist. Gleeson left the band in early 2016, and was replaced by Ritchie Daniell on tour during 2016. Later that year, George Browning joined as the band's new official drummer. The band released various standalone singles during 2012–2015 before releasing a trilogy of EPs: Pillar of Light (2016), Hard to Be (2016) and Clarity Restored (2017).
