Energa SA is a Polish corporate group which deals in the generation, distribution, and supplies electricity [3] to approximately 2.7 million people in Northern Poland. Energa is Poland's third largest distribution network operator serving North and Central Poland, with the other major distributors being; The Tauron Group, Enea SA, and PGE Polska Grupa Energetyczna.

History

The Energa Group was created in 2006 following a merger of Koncern Energetyczny ENERGA SA and Zespół Elektrownia Ostrołęka.

In March 2020, PKN Orlen's plan to take over Energa was approved by the European Union's executive body. [4] In April 2020, it was announced that the Polish company was acquired by PKN Orlen. [5]

The stadium is located at the 1 Pokoleń Lechii Gdańsk Street in the northern part of the city. The total capacity is 41,620 spectators, all seated and roofed. The stadium is the second largest arena in Ekstraklasa and the third largest in the country.

Polska Liga Koszykówki (PLK) is a professional men's club basketball league in Poland. It constitutes the first and highest-tier level of the Polish league pyramid. The winning team of the final round are crowned the Polish Champions of that season. It began in 1947–48, with the name of I Liga, and was originally organized by the Polish Basketball Federation. The league changed to its current form, beginning with the 1997–98 season, after the Polska Liga Koszykówki SA, PLK SA took control over the league. In 2000–01 season the league turned professional.

Naftoport Sp. z o.o. is a Polish company which manages crude oil shipment and deliveries. It is located in Gdańsk, Poland. Naftoport was established in June 1991 by several Polish oil companies and Marine Commercial Port in Gdansk. The company oversees operations of the terminal for reloading of crude oil and products in the Port of Gdańsk.

The oil industry in Poland began at Bóbrka Field in 1853, followed by the first refinery in 1854. Poland was the third most productive region in the world in 1900. It now has only a small, mostly state-owned component, with production from its Permian Basin in the west, small and very old fields in the Carpathians in the south, and offshore in the Baltic Sea. For natural gas the country is almost completely dependent on legacy pipelines from the former Soviet Union.
