Eric James Charlton (born 17 March 1938) is a former Australian politician.
Charlton was elected to the Western Australian Legislative Council in 1984 as a National Party member for Agricultural Region,replacing the deceased MLC Gordon Atkinson. He served in the Council until his resignation in 1998. In 1993 he was appointed Minister for Transport in Richard Court's Coalition government,a position he held until his retirement from politics. Joel Andrew Fitzgibbon is a retired Australian politician. He is a member of the Australian Labor Party (ALP) and has served in the House of Representatives from 1996 to 2022,representing the New South Wales seat of Hunter. He served as Minister for Defence (2007–2009) in the first Rudd Government and Minister for Agriculture,Fisheries and Forestry (2013) in the second Rudd Government. He was also Chief Government Whip in the House of Representatives (2010–2013) in the Gillard Government.

The Division of Hunter is an Australian electoral division in the state of New South Wales.
