Eric Johansson (born January 7, 1982) is a Swedish-Canadian [1] former professional ice hockey player. [2]
Canadian-born Johansson started his hockey career in 1997, playing for Tri-City Americans in the junior league Western Hockey League. In the 2002–03 season, he joined the Albany River Rats in AHL, scoring 53 points in 151 games during the regular seasons. After three seasons with Albany, the last one spent primarily in ECHL with Augusta Lynx, he moved to Sweden and signed with Mora IK in the Swedish elite league Elitserien. After two seasons with the side he signed with another Elitserien team, HV71, after having started the season with TPS in the Finnish SM-liiga. [1] [3] During the Swedish playoff finals, Johansson scored the game-winning goal in game six and secured the championship for HV71. [4]
In June 2008, he signed a two-year deal with Leksands IF in the Swedish second-tier league, HockeyAllsvenskan. [5]
On October 23, 2010, Johansson signed with the Sapa Fehérvár AV19 of the Erste Bank Eishockey Liga league. [2]

The Swedish Hockey League is a professional ice hockey league, and the highest division in the Swedish ice hockey system. The league currently consists of 14 teams. The league was founded in 1975, and while Swedish ice hockey champions have been crowned through various formats since 1922, the title and the Le Mat Trophy have been awarded to the winner of the SHL playoffs since the league's inaugural 1975–76 season.
HV71, often referred to as just HV, is a Swedish professional ice hockey club based in Jönköping, playing in the Swedish Hockey League (SHL), the first tier of Swedish ice hockey. The team played in the 2008–09 Champions Hockey League season, and also participated in the new Champions Hockey League tournament since the 2014–15 season. Between 2008 and 2013, HV also participated in the European Trophy tournament. With the exception of a one-year stint in the 2021–22 season in Sweden's second tier, HockeyAllsvenskan, where they won the promotion playoffs, the club has played continuously in the SHL since being promoted in the 1984–85 season.

Andreas Lars Johansson is a Swedish former professional ice hockey player, currently a head coach for Modo Hockey. Johansson played professionally in the Swedish Elite League, Swiss National League A, the National Hockey League, and in the Russian Superleague. He returned to Sweden in 2009 where he finished his career. He was an assistant coach for Modo Hockey in the 2010–11 season.
Johan Markus Davidsson is a Swedish former professional ice hockey player, who played last with HV71 in the Swedish Hockey League, SHL. He was a long-time Elitserien/SHL player and captain of HV71 for eleven seasons, with which he has won the Swedish championship four times.

Johan Fransson is a Swedish former professional ice hockey player, who last played for Leksands IF in the Swedish Hockey League (SHL), where he was a defenceman. He also played in leagues in Finland, Switzerland, and Russia. Although he was drafted and traded as a prospect in the NHL three times, he has never played a regular season NHL game.

The Swedish Ice Hockey Coach of the Year has been awarded to the best ice hockey coach in Sweden each season since the 1991–92 season. The award was created in honor of Arne Strömberg, and Kamratföreningen Hockeyjournalisterna is the jury which votes on the award. The award has usually gone to a coach in the top-tier league (SHL/Elitserien), although the award is not specific to the top-tier league.
The 2012–13 Elitserien season was the 38th season of Elitserien. The regular season began on 13 September 2012 and ended on 5 March 2013. The playoffs began on 12 March 2013 and ended on 18 April 2013. The 2012–13 Elitserien season was the last season under the name "Elitserien"; on 17 June 2013, the league was renamed "Swedish Hockey League" (SHL).
