Ernest Bediako Sampong (born June, 1956) is a Ghanaian Pharmacist and Businessman. He is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Ernest Chemist and was awarded The Man of The Year at EMY Africa Awards in 2020. [1] [2]

Early life and education

He had his secondary education at Adisadel College in Cape Coast, Ghana. [3] [4] He furthered at the University of Ghana Medical School but eventually left to attend Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, where he studied to acquire a Bachelor of Science degree in Pharmacy [5] [6]

Career

Sampong founded Ernest Chemists Limited and is the current CEO. He is the president of the Pharmaceutical Manufacturers Association Ghana. [7] [8] In 2009, He founded NestPharma Company Limited in Freetown, Sierra Leone . [9]
