Ernesto Pugibet, or, Ernest Pugibet in French, (May 12, 1853 - March 5, 1915) was a French Mexican entrepreneur. He is regarded as one of the key figures in Mexico's industrial revolution, at the turn of the 20th century, and a pioneer of early advertising. [1]

Biography

He was born in Saint-Martory, Haute-Garonne, France, in 1853. He left his motherland in 1875 heading for Cuba where he would learn about the tobacco industry. In 1879 he immigrated to Mexico where he would later establish the cigarette factory known as El Buen Tono. He married Guadalupe de la Portilla in 1887 and fathered three children, Juan, Ernesto and Ana Maria. He died on March 5, 1915, in Paris, France.

Miguel Ángel Félix Gallardo, commonly referred to by his aliases El Jefe de Jefes and El Padrino, is a convicted Mexican drug kingpin who was one of the founders of the Guadalajara Cartel, which controlled much of the drug trafficking in Mexico and the corridors along the Mexico–United States border in the 1980s.

The Guadalajara Cartel, also known as The Federation, was a Mexican drug cartel which was formed in 1980 by Miguel Ángel Félix Gallardo, Rafael Caro Quintero, and Ernesto Fonseca Carrillo in order to ship cocaine and marijuana to the United States. Among the first of the Mexican drug trafficking groups to work with the Colombian cocaine mafias, the Guadalajara Cartel prospered from the cocaine trade. Throughout the 1980s, the cartel controlled much of the drug trafficking in Mexico and the corridors along the Mexico–United States border. It had operations in various regions in Mexico which included the states of Jalisco, Baja California, Colima, Sonora, Chihuahua and Sinaloa among others. Multiple modern present day drug cartels such as the Tijuana, Juárez and Sinaloa cartels originally started out as branches or "plazas" of the Guadalajara Cartel before its eventual disintegration.

Ignacio Patiño, better known under the ring names Soul Rocker and Tito Santana is a Mexican luchador, or professional wrestler, currently working for Lucha Libre AAA Worldwide (AAA). He is the son of retired luchador Kendor and actually worked as Kendor II early in his career. From 2005 through 2012, he used the name Tito Santana, although he is not related to the better-known Tito Santana. He began using the name again in 2017 after losing his mask. As Soul Rocker he wore wrestling gear reminiscent of the elaborate stage costumes of the rock group Kiss.
