Eshwari Devi Matham is a famous pilgrimage centre located in Brahmamgari Matham which is a mandal in YSR district in the state of Andhra Pradesh in India. It is the place of Sree Veerabrahmendra Swami sajeeva samadhi, and Sree Eshwari Devi jeeva samadhis are located. Eshwari Devi is the grand daughter of Pothuluri Veerabrahmendra Swamy. Eshwari Devi was the descendant of Govinda swami (elder son of Pothuluri Veerabrahmendra Swamy) and Girimamba. She was the elder daughter of Govinda swami, her siblings being Kashamamba, Kalamamba, Sharavamba, and Shankaramamba. [1]

Kalagnanam and miracles

Like Pothuluri Veerabrahmendra Swamy, she also authored kalagnanam, [2] preaching Veerabrahmendra kalagnanam and advaitha siddantham. The kalagnanam written by Eshwaramma varu can be seen in the villages Kongala Ramapuram and Kona Samudram, and are receiving the daily poojas in the temples. The chief disciples of Eshwari Devi ammavaru were Chatukonda Chengayya Shetty and Yogi Subbayyacharya, and travelled all over India with Ammavaru. She did some miracles like made shaapa vimochanam for the brahma raakshasi at Badvel village, Lightning of lamps with water at Vinukonda Village. [1]

Potuluri Veerabrahmam Indian Hindu saint

Potuluri Veerabrahmam, was an Indian Hindu saint, who lived in Andhra Pradesh region. He is most notable in Andhra for his work Kalagnanam, a book of predictions written in Telugu somewhere around 16th century. It forecasts many incidents which are proved to be correct by the posterity. His prophetic texts in Kalagnanam are the Govinda Vakyas and Jeevaikya Bodha.

Gaudapadacharya Math

Shri Gaudapadacharya Math, also known as Kavaḷē maṭha, located in Kavale, Ponda, Goa, is the oldest matha of the Smarthan Saraswat Brahman Samaj. It was founded by Gauḍapāda around 740 AD, whose student was Govinda Bhagavatpada, the guru of Adi Shankara, a highly influential figure in Hinduism. There is also a belief that Gauḍapāda himself established the Shri Gaudapadacharya matha when he lived in Gomantak (Goa). Thus, the matha came to be known as Shri Saunstan Gaudapadacharya matha. Unlike other mathas, Shri Gaudapadacharya matha is not a polemical center established to influence the faith of all Hindus, its jurisdiction is limited to only Dakshinatya Saraswat Brahmins.
