Esko Alpo Luostarinen (born May 8, 1935, in Viipuri, Finland) is a retired professional ice hockey player who played in the SM-liiga. He played for Tappara and at two Olympic games. He competed at the 1960 Winter Olympics and the 1964 Winter Olympics. [1]

He was inducted into the Finnish Hockey Hall of Fame in 1985. [2]

He also placed second in the team military patrol, which was a demonstration sport at those Olympics, and served as the flag bearer for Finland at the opening ceremony.

He played in the SM-liiga with KOOVEE, Ilves, and HPK between 1979 and 1998. He also played 3 games in the National Hockey League with the Edmonton Oilers during the 1985–86 season.
