Essex High School is a high school located in the town of Tappahannock, in Essex County, Virginia, United States.
EHS is ranked among the top 15,000~ public high schools in America, and 290~ in Virginia. The school is performing below expectations on state testing, Math 64%, Reading 78%, and Science 65%. The graduation rate is 96%. [2]
Essex County is a county located in the Middle Peninsula in the U.S. state of Virginia; the peninsula is bordered by the Rappahannock River on the north and King and Queen County on the south. As of the 2020 census, the population was 10,599. Its county seat is Tappahannock.
West Springfield High School is a public high school located in unincorporated Fairfax County, Virginia, at 6100 Rolling Road, and is part of the Fairfax County Public Schools system. Uikelotu Christopher Kemoeatu is a Tongan former professional American football guard. He played college football for the University of Utah Utes, and was drafted by the Steelers in the sixth round of the 2005 NFL Draft. He is the younger brother of former NFL nose tackle Ma'ake Kemoeatu.
Xavier Oyekola Adibi is an American football coach and former player. He is a defensive analyst at Virginia Tech, and was previously the defensive coordinator at Texas A&M University–Commerce. He played college football at Virginia Tech. He was selected by the Houston Texans in the fourth round of the 2008 NFL Draft and played professionally as a linebacker in the National Football League (NFL) with the Texans (2008–2010), Minnesota Vikings (2011), Chicago Bears (2012), and Tennessee Titans (2012). He was inducted into the Virginia Tech Sports Hall of Fame in 2021.

Christopher Carroll Slade is an American former professional football player who was a linebacker in the National Football League (NFL) for nine seasons. He played college football for the Virginia Cavaliers, and earned consensus All-American honors. A second-round pick in the 1993 NFL Draft, he played professionally for the New England Patriots and Carolina Panthers of the NFL. Slade was recognized as a Pro Bowl selection and All-Pro after the 1997 season. He is currently an assistant coach at Virginia.
Kameron Darnel Chancellor, nicknamed "Bam Bam", is an American former professional football strong safety. He spent his entire 9-year career with the Seattle Seahawks of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football for the Virginia Tech Hokies prior to being selected by the Seahawks in the fifth round of the 2010 NFL Draft. A four-time Pro Bowler, he was one of the key members of their Legion of Boom secondary. He also helped lead the Seahawks to victory in Super Bowl XLVIII. Chancellor retired following complications from a neck injury he suffered in 2017.
