Eteri Andjaparidze (born September 15, 1956) is a Georgian-American pianist [1] and music professor.
Andjaparidze was born on September 15 1956, into a family of musicians in Tbilisi, Republic of Georgia. Her father, Zurab Andjaparidze (1928–1997), was the leading tenor with the Bolshoi Opera and her mother, Yvetta Bachtadze, was a pianist who gave Andjaparidze her first piano lessons. Her stepfather, Leonid Oakley (1923–1991) was a Georgian scientist. At age 5, Andjaparidze entered the Special Music School for Gifted Children in Tbilisi (studio of Meri Chavchanidze), and at age 8 debuted as a soloist with the Georgian State Symphony Orchestra and in solo recital at age 9. She studied at the Moscow State Tchaikovsky Conservatoire with Vera Gornostaeva.

Andjaparidze was the first Soviet pianist to win the Grand Prix at the Montreal International Piano Competition in 1976. [2] In 1974, entering the Tchaikovsky International Competition as the youngest participant, Andjaparidze won fourth place. [3]
She has appeared around the globe in solo and collaborative recitals and as a guest soloist with the major orchestras and conductors. Her programs encompass all genres and styles of the piano repertoire and discography includes Grammy and Deutsche Schallplatten awards nominated solo albums.
Currently a piano faculty at NYU Steinhardt and Mannes School of Music, Andjaparidze has taught at DePaul University, SUNY, Moscow and Tbilisi State Conservatoires and conducted masterclasses worldwide. She is the founder and artistic director of the advanced piano performance study program AmerKlavier. [4]
Andjaparidze is a recipient of the International Friendship Order, the Order of Honor, and the People's Artist of Georgia title. [5]

Émile Naoumoff is a Bulgarian pianist and composer. He revealed himself a musical prodigy at age five, taking up study of the piano and adding composition to his studies a year later. At the age of eight, after a fateful meeting in Paris, he became the last disciple of Nadia Boulanger, who referred to him as "the gift of my old age". He studied with her until her death in late 1979. Boulanger gave him the opportunity to work with Clifford Curzon, Igor Markevitch, Robert and Gaby Casadesus, Nikita Magaloff, Jean Françaix, Leonard Bernstein, Soulima Stravinsky, Aram Khachaturian, Sviatoslav Richter and Yehudi Menuhin. Lord Menuhin conducted the premiere of Naoumoff's first Piano Concerto, with the composer as soloist when he was ten years old. He pursued studies at the Paris Conservatory with Lélia Gousseau, Pierre Sancan, Geneviève Joy-Dutilleux, as well as at the Ecole Normale de Musique de Paris with Pierre Dervaux (conducting).

Vyacheslav Gryaznov is a Russian classical pianist, recording artist, transcriber, composer, and assistant professor of piano. Since 2008, he has held the position of teaching assistant in the Piano Department of the Moscow Conservatory. Beginning with the 2008/2009 concert season, V. Gryaznov has belonged to the Moscow Philharmonic Society which represents him in Russia. Since 2012, he has worked as a visiting professor of piano at Kurashiki Sakuyo University of Science and Arts in Japan. In 2014 Vyacheslav signed a contract with Schott Music, the leading publisher for classical and contemporary music.

She appeared in leading roles of both Georgian and international operas, such as Revaz Lagidze's Lela, Verdi's Leonora in Il trovatore and Puccini's Madama Butterfly, credited with portraying them with "fierce inner expression". She was honoured as a People's Artist of the USSR in 1976 and the Order of Queen Tamara in 2021.
Alexander "Sandro" Mamukelashvili is a Georgian-American professional basketball player for the San Antonio Spurs of the National Basketball Association (NBA). He played college basketball for the Seton Hall Pirates.
Alexander Sinchuk is a Russian concert pianist. Sinchuk's honors include winning numerous international competitions, such as the Rachmaninoff International Competition (2008), International Competition for Young Pianists in Memory of Vladimir Horowitz (2012), International Competition Nuits Européennes du Piano, and Grand Prize at the 6th Prix Du Piano Interlaken Classics. In 2011, Sinchuk was a semifinalist at the XIV International Tchaikovsky Piano Competition.
