Etins Records is a Nigerian record label founded by Edwin Etinosa Ehiorobo. [1] The label is home to Yarden, [2] Morien and formerly Victor AD. [3] Services within the label includes, artist development and management, branding, audiovisual content and music recording.

History

Edwin Etinosa Ehiorobo founded Etins Records in December, 2017. "Wetin You Gain" was the first major release from the record label in July, 2018. The song received positive reviews from music critics including Joey Akan [4] and was subsequently nominated for a Headies award in 2019 as Song of the Year. [5] The record label had additional success with Victor AD with the release of "Tire You" [6] featuring Davido in 2019.

Etins Record released the self-titled debut EP from Morien in 2019 [7] and "Maria" as a standout single. [8] Morien has since released additional EPs and singles under the label. The record label, also home to Yarden [9] released "Wetin" [10] in November 2022, with the song making appearances in several African charts including peaking at number in spotify viral chart (Nigeria) while also becoming a viral song on tiktok. [11]

Abdulsalam Suliyat Modasola well known as Liya, is a Nigerian singer, and songwriter. She came into the music scene with the release of her first single under Davido Music Worldwide, titled "Melo", shortly after signing a record deal with the label in 2020. The accompanying music video for "Melo", was released on 8 December 2020, starring Davido, and directed by Dammy Twitch for DMW. Bowofoluwa Olufisayo Odunsi (born June 7, 1996) known professionally as Odunsi the Engine stylized Odunsi (The Engine) is a Nigerian alternative singer-songwriter, rapper and record producer. Ajebo Hustlers are a Nigerian Afrobeat and Highlife duo from Port Harcourt, Nigeria, composed of Isaiah Precious a.k.a "Piego" a singer and George Dandeson a.k.a "Knowledge" a rapper. They met in 2010/2011 in a catering company where they both worked as waiters. Ajebo Hustlers were nominated at the 2022 Headies Awards for songwriter of The Year and won the Best Duo at the Soundcity MVP Awards of 2023.

Chidozie Godsfavour Ugochinyere, known professionally as Fave, is a Nigerian singer-songwriter and recording artist. Alexander Uwaifo known professionally as Andre Vibez is a Nigerian music producer and songwriter. He is best known for producing "Rush" from Ayra Starr's album 19 & Dangerous and Rema international hit single “Calm Down” which peaked at number one on the India IMI International chart and also peak no.3 on Billboard Hot 100. In September 2022, he was announced as one of the new signed record producers of the Nigerian record label, Mavin Records.

Ebuka Alex Ojini-Ntamere, known professionally as Alpha Ojini, is a Nigerian rapper, record producer and songwriter. He is a two-time nominee of The Headies Award and has released eight albums.
