Eulogies was an American rock band based in Los Angeles, California. The final lineup consisted of Peter Walker on guitar and vocals, Drew Phillips on guitar, Chris Reynolds on drums, and Ashley Dzerigian on bass. [1]

Former Eulogies bass player Tim Hutton and Chris Reynolds originally began playing with Peter Walker under the aegis of his solo work. After touring the US extensively in 2006, the trio was reborn under the name Eulogies. Drew Phillips joined the band in 2008, while Garrett Deloian joined the band in January 2009 (replacing bassist Tim Hutton, who left Eulogies shortly after recording resumed for their second album). They are signed to Los Angeles indie label Dangerbird Records, through which they released their self-titled debut album on September 11, 2007. The album was co-produced by fellow Dangerbird labelmate Hrishikesh Hirway (The One A.M. Radio). Eulogies toured North America in support of that album in summer 2007 with Sea Wolf and in fall 2007 with Film School.

A second album, entitled Here Anonymous , was released on April 7, 2009, [2] and was preceded by the EP Tempted to Do Nothing on November 4, 2008. North American tour dates with The Dears and Middle Distance Runner followed in spring 2009.

Their third and final full-length album, Tear The Fences Down , was released on January 18, 2011 [3] exclusively on digital and vinyl formats. The CD version was released in March 2011.

The One AM Radio's sound is often characterized by Hirway's lush vocals over dream-like instrumental arrangements. He does most of his own recording, playing several of the instruments and producing all the beats; the style borders electronica, folk, post-rock, chamber music, and ambient music.

Pikul is the debut EP from the Silversun Pickups, released on Dangerbird Records in 2005. The album includes 16 untitled tracks after "...All the Go Inbetweens", all of which are about 44 seconds long each, concealing a hidden track at the end. The album name comes from the nickname of a friend of the band who died, and to whom the album is dedicated. The name is commonly pronounced "Pickle", but the correct pronunciation is "pie-kull".

Guitarist/vocalist Tim Presley, a former member of the hardcore punk band The Nerve Agents, formed the band in 2004 with drummer and former Nerve Agents bandmate Andy Granelli, then also of The Distillers. They were joined shortly thereafter by bass guitarist Rob Barbato, who shared songwriting and vocals with Presley, and rhythm guitarist Jared "The Sandwich" Everett. <i>Better Nature</i> 2015 studio album by Silversun Pickups

Better Nature is the fourth studio album by Los Angeles alternative rock band Silversun Pickups. The album was produced by Jacknife Lee, and was released on September 25, 2015. It is the first of the band's albums to be released on their own label, New Machine Records; as well as their first to be supported by a Pledgemusic campaign. The album was announced on July 15, 2015. The lead single for the album, "Nightlight," was released to radio on August 6, 2015. It was accompanied by a music video, directed by Mark Pellington and starring Boardwalk Empire actor Meg Steedle. The album's second single, "Circadian Rhythm ," was premiered via The Daily Beast on September 10, 2015. An accompanying video, directed by Scott Weintrob, was released to YouTube and Vevo the following day.
