Everest Women's Volleyball League (EWVL) [1] is a professional women's indoor volleyball Franchise league in Nepal. The inaugural season took place in September 2024. [2]
EWVL is the first ever women's volleyball franchise league held in South Asian Region.
The Nepal Volleyball Association (NVA) in association with the Infinity Dreams Pvt. Ltd. launched and will be conducted the inaugural season of a franchise-based indoor volleyball league called Everest Women's Volleyball League. [3] Infinity Dreams will manage the league across the country based on the home and away principle for a duration of seven years.
In August 2024, the league announced an six teams for the inaugural season of the 2024 Everest Women's Volleyball League. [4]

The Tharu or Tharuhat languages are any of the Indo-Aryan languages spoken by the Tharu people of the Terai region in Nepal, and neighboring regions of Uttarakhand, Uttar Pradesh and Bihar in India.
Everest Premier League (EPL) was a franchise Twenty20 cricket tournament organized by EPL Pvt. Ltd., a private group in Nepal. It was the biggest cricket tournament in the country, played during the northern winter calendar, mostly in the month of December. It was played in round-robin format in which top four teams qualify for the playoffs. The tournament was renowned for having high attendance among the domestic cricket of the ICC associate nations. The first edition of the tournament was held in September 2016 with six franchises consisting of domestic and international players. Chitwan Tigers are the defending champions after winning the 2021 season.
Bagmati Province is one of the seven provinces of Nepal established by the constitution of Nepal. Bagmati is Nepal's second-most populous province and fifth largest province by area. The tournament was scheduled to be held from 18 December 2017 to 30 December 2017. The tournament featured six teams and their names were based on the cities.
The Nepal Premier League (NPL) (Nepali: नेपाल प्रिमियर लिग), is a men's Twenty20 cricket league going to held annually in Nepal. Founded by the Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN) in 2024, the league features eight province or city based franchise teams. The inaugural season is set to be held from 30 November to 21 December 2024. The tournament will use a round-robin format, with the top teams advancing to the playoffs.

Lalitpur Patriots were the defending champions, having won their first title in 2018, but were eliminated in the group stage after finishing fifth.

The 2021 Nepal Super League was the first season of the Nepal Super League, the first professional franchise based club football league of Nepal. Seven franchises participated in the tournament played at the Dasharath Rangasala from 24 April to 15 May 2021. Kathmandu Rayzrs won the title after beating Dhangadhi FC in the final on 15 May 2021.

Miss Nepal World 2022 Priyanka Rani Joshi will crown her successor as Miss Nepal World 2023, Miss Nepal Earth 2022 Sareesha Shrestha will crown Miss Nepal Earth 2023 and Nancy Khadka will crown Miss Nepal International 2023 respectively. The grand coronation event will be shown live Exclusively on Kantipur Television HD, Kantipur Cineplex HD and Official YouTube Channel.
The 2023 Nepal Super League was the second season of the Nepal Super League, the top flight franchise based club football league of Nepal. A total of nine franchises participated in the tournament played at the Dasharath Rangasala from 24 November to 30 December 2023. Kathmandu Rayzrs had won the inaugural season after beating Dhangadhi FC in the final on 15 May 2021. In addition to the seven founding members, three new franchises were added. Jhapa FC represented Jhapa, Sporting Ilam De Mechi FC Ilam, and Birgunj United FC Birgunj. One of the founding members, Biratnagar City, decided to withdraw from the tournament, resulting in only nine teams participating in this edition. Lalitpur City FC became the champions of the second edition of this Nepal Super League. The losing finalist once again were Dhangadhi FC.
Kamana Bista is a Nepalese volleyball player. She is a member of the Nepal Women's Volleybal team. She made her debut in the national team during the AVC Asian Central Zone Women’s and Men’s Volleyball Championship in Bangladesh. She participated in the first set of the team's opening match against Sri Lanka, helping them to win 3-2. She also plays for the Nepal Police Club in domestic matches.
