Little Texas is an American country music band founded in Nashville, Tennessee, in 1988 by Tim Rushlow, Brady Seals, Del Gray (drums), Porter Howell, Dwayne O'Brien, and Duane Propes. Signed to Warner Bros. Records in 1991, Little Texas released its debut album First Time for Everything that year. The album's lead off single, "Some Guys Have All the Love", reached a peak of No. 8 on the Billboard Hot Country Singles & Tracks charts. Little Texas continued to produce hit singles throughout the mid-1990s, including the Number One single "My Love" and six more top ten hits. Their debut album earned a gold certification from the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA), while 1993's Big Time was certified double platinum and 1994's Kick a Little was certified platinum.

Love Hurts is the twentieth studio album by American singer-actress Cher, released on June 13, 1991 by Geffen Records. The RIAA certified it Gold on August 27, 1991. It is the final studio album with the record label Geffen. The lead single from the album was, "Love and Understanding" and the follow-up singles were "Save Up All Your Tears", "Love Hurts", "Could've Been You" and "When Lovers Become Strangers". It debuted at number 48 on the Billboard Top 200 albums chart with the sales of 19,000. In November 2011, Billboard stated that Love Hurts has sold 600,000 copies in the US.

"Todd's Song" is a tribute to Todd Eckhardt, a former bassist for The Pietasters, who died in 2001. "I'm From There" is in reference to the departure of previous drummer, and long-time friend, Shal Khichi from the band, who left soon after the release of Hopeless Romantic.
Blow Your Cool! is Australian rock group Hoodoo Gurus' third album, released in May 1987 and contains their hit single "What's My Scene?". The single reached #3 on the Australian Music Charts. The band's American label, Elektra Records, was hoping that they could come up with something a bit easier to market than the witty, 1960s-obsessed pop/rock of Stoneage Romeos and Mars Needs Guitars!, so they paired the group with producer Mark Opitz, who had previously produced records for AC/DC, INXS, and the Divinyls. Background vocals on two tracks were supplied by the Bangles. It was recorded both in Sydney and Los Angeles. The album reached No. 120 on the Billboard 200 album charts in 1987.

The lead single was "If You See Him/If You See Her", a duet with Brooks & Dunn, which was concurrently released on Brooks & Dunn's corresponding album If You See Her; the song reached Number One on the Hot Country Songs charts in 1998. "Forever Love", "Wrong Night" and "One Honest Heart" were all released from this album as well, all of which reached Top 10 as well. It debuted at number 8 on the Billboard 200 chart with over 93,000 copies sold in the first week.

Don't You Know Who I Think I Was? is a greatest hits album by the American rock band The Replacements, released in 2006 by Rhino Records. It includes eighteen tracks spanning the band's eight studio releases from 1981 to 1990, as well as two new tracks recorded specifically for this release. The new tracks—"Message to the Boys" and "Pool & Dive"—feature the three surviving original band members: singer and guitarist Paul Westerberg, bass guitarist Tommy Stinson, and drummer Chris Mars. However, Mars does not play drums on these tracks: they were played by session drummer Josh Freese while Mars sang backing vocals.

Faster & Llouder is the second album released by American country music duo Foster & Lloyd. It contained their last Top 10 song, "Fair Shake". The other singles released, "Before the Heartache Rolls In" and "Suzette" failed to break into the top 40. The album itself peaked at #44 on the Billboard Top Country Albums chart. It was, however, their only album to appear on the Billboard 200, charting at #142.

The album is a Christmas holiday album featuring a posthumous duet with Elvis Presley who died in 1977 and two duets with Johnny Mathis and The Overtones. The album also features an original song, "Miracle Hymn", written for Boyle's debut acting role in the film The Christmas Candle.

We'll Sing in the Sunshine is the tenth studio album by Australian-American pop singer Helen Reddy that was released in 1978 by Capitol Records. The album included two songs that were also covered by Johnny Mathis in the first half of that year: "All I Ever Need", which came out on his March release, You Light Up My Life, and "Ready or Not", on which he duetted with Deniece Williams for their June release, That's What Friends Are For. Reddy also ventures into Beatles territory with their rockabilly number "One After 909" and takes on Jeff Lynne's "Poor Little Fool" with accompaniment in the vein of Electric Light Orchestra. This was her first album that did not reach Billboard's Top LP's & Tapes chart. On February 23, 2010, it was released for the first time on compact disc as one of two albums on one CD, the other album being her 1977 release, Ear Candy.

"Singing in the Rain" is a song by Canadian rock band Simple Plan from their fifth studio album, Taking One for the Team (2016). On the album, American musical duo Rock City are featured on the track, with an additional verse written by the duo's Timothy and Theron Thomas, however the single version does not include this feature. The solo Simple Plan version of "Singing in the Rain" was released to digital retailers on March 25, 2016 as the album's third official single.

The album was released on February 15, 2011 by Kingsway Music alongside the group's imprint label, Bethel Music. Jeremy Edwardson worked on the production of the album. The album was recorded live at Bethel Church in Redding, California and includes a DVD containing interviews about worship with Bethel Church pastors Bill Johnson and Kris Vallotton as well as Bethel Music artists such as Brian and Jenn Johnson, Jeremy Riddle and others.
