"Everything in the World" is a song by Squeeze. It was released in 1993 as the first single from their tenth album, Some Fantastic Place , in the United States and featured prominent falsetto vocals by British artist Chris Braide. "Third Rail" was the first single issued in most other countries. It was a hit in the U.S. on alternative rock radio, peaking at number nine on the Hot Modern Rock Tracks chart.

Squeeze are an English rock band that came to prominence in the United Kingdom during the new wave period of the late 1970s, and continued recording in the 1980s, 1990s and 2010s. In the UK, their singles "Cool for Cats", "Up the Junction" and "Labelled with Love" were top-ten chart hits. Some Fantastic Place is the tenth studio album by the British new wave group Squeeze, released in 1993 by A&M Records. Their first album since the departure of original Squeeze drummer Gilson Lavis, it features Pete Thomas and the brief return of keyboardist/vocalist Paul Carrack, who had previously appeared on East Side Story (1981). "Loving You Tonight" became only the second Squeeze song cut in thirteen years to feature Carrack singing a lead part. Additionally, bassist Keith Wilkinson wrote and sang "True Colours ", the first song on a Squeeze album not written by Glenn Tilbrook, Chris Difford, Jools Holland, or any combination of those three.

Cool for Cats (song)

"Cool for Cats" was the second single released from the English rock band Squeeze's Cool for Cats album. The song features a rare lead vocal performance from cockney-accented Squeeze lyricist Chris Difford, one of only three occasions he sang lead on a Squeeze single A-side The song, slightly edited from the album track, peaked at No. 2 on the UK Singles Chart in 1979, making "Cool for Cats" one of the band's biggest hits.

Stewart Mason of AllMusic remarked, "Although its increasing ubiquity on '80s hits radio and on television would suggest otherwise, Squeeze's "Tempted" was not actually a hit single." The song later became ingrained in public consciousness due to its use in commercials by Burger King and Heineken, film soundtracks like that of Reality Bites, and the video games Grand Theft Auto: Vice City, and Rock Band. This is also the only Squeeze single to feature a lead vocal by Holland. Holland's younger brother Chris Holland also plays emulator on this track.

"Soul to Squeeze" is a song by the American rock band Red Hot Chili Peppers that was originally recorded during the production of their fifth studio album, Blood Sugar Sex Magik (1991). Although it was not featured on the record and was used as a B-side on the singles "Give It Away" and "Under the Bridge", "Soul to Squeeze" was later released as a single in 1993. The song was included in the Coneheads film soundtrack. "Soul to Squeeze" was eventually re-released for the 2003 Greatest Hits album.
