This is the band's only album not to feature an official bass player, as Jason Newsted left Metallica prior to the recording sessions; Rock played the album's bass parts in his place.

Master and Commander: The Far Side of the World is a 2003 American epic period war-drama film co-written, produced and directed by Peter Weir, set during the Napoleonic Wars. The film's plot and characters are adapted from three novels in author Patrick O'Brian's Aubrey–Maturin series, which includes 20 completed novels of Jack Aubrey's naval career. The film stars Russell Crowe as Aubrey, captain in the Royal Navy, and Paul Bettany as Dr. Stephen Maturin, the ship's surgeon. This is the second onscreen collaboration for Crowe and Bettany, both of whom previously co-starred in 2001’s A Beautiful Mind.

HIM (Finnish band) Finnish gothic rock band

HIM was a Finnish gothic rock band from Helsinki. First formed in 1991 by vocalist Ville Valo and bassist Mikko "Mige" Paananen under the name His Infernal Majesty, the band broke up after only a few years, only to be reformed in 1995 by Valo and guitarist Mikko "Linde" Lindström. After being rejoined by Mige, as well as keyboardist Antto Melasniemi and drummer Juhana "Pätkä" Rantala, the band, now called HIM, released its debut album Greatest Lovesongs Vol. 666 in 1997. In 2000, now with drummer Mika "Gas Lipstick" Karppinen and keyboardist Juska Salminen, the band released Razorblade Romance, which reached the number one spot in Finland, Austria and Germany. The first single "Join Me in Death" also charted at number one in Finland and Germany, eventually going platinum and gold, respectively. Following the addition of Janne "Burton" Puurtinen on keyboards, HIM released Deep Shadows and Brilliant Highlights (2001) and Love Metal (2003). Both cracked the top ten in several countries and allowed the band to tour in the United Kingdom and the United States for the first time.

They're Only Chasing Safety is the fourth album by American post-hardcore band Underoath. It was released on June 15, 2004, through Solid State Records. Following the release of their third studio The Changing of Times (2002), nearly all of the band's members were replaced. After finalizing the line-up with vocalist Spencer Chamberlain, in February 2004, the band recorded their next release with producer James Paul Wisner at his home studio Wisner Productions. The album has been tagged with genres including screamo and melodic hardcore. Drummer Aaron Gillespie had more of a vocal presence to contrast Chamberlain's screams.

Rotten Sound

Rotten Sound is a Finnish grindcore band from Vaasa, formed in 1993. The band comprises vocalist Keijo Niinimaa, guitarist Mika Aalto, bassist Kristian Toivainen, and drummer Sami Latva. The band has released eight studio albums and "earned a reputation for being one of the most intense bands on the Scandinavian death metal/grindcore scene".

It was first released on 14 October 2005 through Mute Records internationally, and through Sire Records and Reprise Records in the United States. "Get Your Number" is a song by American singer-songwriter Mariah Carey. It was written by Carey, Jermaine Dupri, Johntá Austin and Bryan-Michael Cox, and produced by the former two and LRoc. It was released as the third international single from Carey's tenth studio album, The Emancipation of Mimi (2005). The song is built around a sample of "Just an Illusion" (1982) by British band Imagination. Due to the inclusion of the sample, several other writers are credited as songwriters. The Videos 1989–2004 is a video album by American heavy metal band Metallica, released on DVD in December 2006. It features all of the band's videos from 1989 to 2004. In its first week of release, the DVD sold 28,000 copies. The menus of the DVD play excerpts of different Metallica songs, including "The Outlaw Torn" (Load), "My Friend of Misery" (Metallica), "Bleeding Me" (Load), "Carpe Diem Baby" (Reload) and "Prince Charming" (Reload).

"Doctor Pressure" is a song by Mylo and Miami Sound Machine, from the re-issue of Mylo's debut studio album Destroy Rock & Roll (2004). The song was written by Elias Enrique Garcia and the producer Mylo. It was released by Sony BMG and Breastfed Recordings on 5 September 2005, as the sixth single from the album. Initially created as a bootleg recording by Phil 'N' Dog, the mashup contains a sample of the songs "Drop the Pressure" and "Dr. Beat" by Mylo and Miami Sound Machine respectively.

Willowtip Records discography

Willowtip Records is an American independent record label based in Zelienople, Pennsylvania, that specializes in extreme metal. Jason Tipton, who founded Willowtip Records in the late 1990s, owns the label. Their roster features bands from several countries, including Belgium, Canada, Germany, Finland, Italy and Sweden. The label's first release was a 7-inch split extended play (EP) between Creation Is Crucifixion and Fate of Icarus, in 1999. Later that year, Willowtip released the Circle of Dead Children's full-length debut, Starving the Vultures. In 2002, the label released an EP of the "hydro-grind" band Cephalic Carnage; a single 19-minute track entitled Halls of Amenti. The following year, Willowtip released Ion Dissonance's debut Breathing Is Irrelevant. In an interview, Jason Tipton stated that one of the Willowtip's most significant releases, is the 2004 re-issue for Necrophagist's Onset of Putrefaction; as the band and record label experienced some difficulties to get the rights back for the album. Some more of the label's more recent and notable releases include Slugdge and Contrarian (band).

People Hold On

"People Hold On" is a 1989 song recorded by British band Coldcut and singer Lisa Stansfield, released as the first single from the band's debut album, What's That Noise?. It was written by Matt Black, Jonathan More and Stansfield, and produced by Coldcut.

X&Y is the third studio album by the British rock band Coldplay. It was released on 6 June 2005 by Parlophone in the United Kingdom, and a day later by Capitol Records in the United States. The album was produced by Coldplay and producer Danton Supple. It is noted for its troubled and urgent development, with producer Ken Nelson having originally been tasked with producing much of the album; however, many songs written during his sessions were discarded owing to the band's dissatisfaction with them.
