Exit Ten was an English post-hardcore/rock band with metal influences. Their debut album, Remember the Day, was released in 2008. Their second studio album, Give Me Infinity, was released in October 2011.
Exit Ten are a post-hardcore and alternative band with post-metal influences from Reading, Berkshire, England. Their influences are as diverse as Killswitch Engage, In Flames, Tool, Deftones, Muse, Radiohead and Jeff Buckley.
The band was originally conceived as a four-piece composed of twins Stuart and James 'Jza' Steele, their older brother Chris and the family's lifelong friend Joe Ward. After playing as a more traditional metalcore band, the current line up came together in 2003 with the addition of more melodic vocalist Ryan Redman. [1] Redman had until that point been singing for indie-funk band Ant Salon. [2] [3]
2004 was the year the band, while still teenagers, began to pick up international recognition. April saw them record their début self-titled EP with Mark Williams (Sikth, Oceansize, yourcodenameis:milo).
In summer 2004, the band was involved in an American TV show, Richard Branson: Rebel Billionaire. Aired globally, Exit Ten were picked from 15 other acts during the show which eventually led to them playing on the NME stage at the UK's V Festival. [4]
This World They'll Drown , produced by Andy Sneap, was released through Deep Burn Records only in the UK on 12 June 2006. On the weekend of the release the band played the Gibson Guitars stage at Download Festival 2006.
In the first quarter of 2007, Exit Ten spent a week with Justin Hill and Dan Weller (Sikth/WellerHill Productions) demoing new material. In April 2007, two of these demos – Piece by Piece by Piece and Perish in the Flames – appeared on the band's MySpace page to stream in their entirety, to coincide with the band's début headline tour of the UK (dubbed 'The Great Rebellion Tour 2007').
In 2008, the band released début album Remember the Day , recorded with Mark Williams, through Pinnacle imprint Deep Burn Records, spawning two videos – 'Technically Alive' and 'Warriors' (also a single). That year the band appeared at the UK's Download Festival and toured with 36 Crazyfists.
On 3 December 2008, Pinnacle Entertainment Ltd announced that it was going in to administration so effectively all activities as a record label and distributor of music ceased. Exit Ten's label Deep Burn was signed to Pinnacle, so the initial disaster for the band was that as stocks of their album Remember the Day and EP This World They'll Drown ran out, they would not be replenished whilst the album remained the property of the label's administrators. Exit Ten finally recorded their second studio album in Reading, at Outhouse Studios (Enter Shikari, You Me at Six, Funeral for a Friend) in 2010. On 4 July 2011 a track from the album, "Curtain Call", was made available to stream from the Jägermeister UK Facebook page. [6] On Wednesday 20 July, Exit Ten revealed, via www.rocksound.tv, that their upcoming album would be called Give Me Infinity. The artwork and track listing for the album were also made known. [7] On 25 August 2011, the band announced, via their Facebook page, that the album release would be delayed until 10 October 2011, to coincide with their touring schedule. [8] Give Me Infinity was released on 10 October to a big reception. The second promo video, "Suggest a Path", following "Curtain Call", also coincided with the release. Kerrang! claimed with Give Me Infinity – "Exit Ten have officially arrived" 4k. While Metal Hammer called it "A beautiful and powerful work" 8/10. They garnered various radio plays and a positive critical reaction and began touring. In April 2012, the band headed out on a European run to coincide with the European release. The third single and promo video were for the track "Sunset". In February 2012, they supported Theory of a Deadman and in October 2012, they supported Shinedown on their European Tour.
The group disbanded in 2014.
Following the end of Exit Ten, Ryan Redman joined I Am Giant, [9] with whom he appeared on The X-Factor New Zealand. [10] He left the band in late 2015. [11] As of 2017, Redman was frontman of London/Reading-based rock band Chekhov's Gun. [12]

Pitchshifter are an English industrial rock band from Nottingham, formed in 1989. The band was started by lead guitarist and programmer Johnny A. Carter, and bassist and vocalist Mark Clayden. The band's early material was characterized for its gritty industrial metal sound with downtuned guitars and the use of drum machines, and has been cited as one of the originators of the genre along with Godflesh. With later albums the group's music became increasingly more melodic and strongly influenced by nu metal and drum and bass; particularly evident of their 1998 release www.pitchshifter.com, which has been compared with groups like The Prodigy.
The Black Dahlia Murder is an American melodic death metal band from Waterford, Michigan, formed in 2001. Their name is derived from the 1947 unsolved murder of Elizabeth Short, often referred to as Black Dahlia. Currently, the band consists of lead vocalist Brian Eschbach, bassist Max Lavelle, drummer Alan Cassidy, and guitarists Brandon Ellis and Ryan Knight. The Black Dahlia Murder has undergone various lineup changes, with Trevor Strnad and Eschbach remaining the only constant members, until the former's death in 2022, which then saw Eschbach take over lead vocals and Knight replacing him on rhythm guitar.

He was known for being the singer of Italian symphonic power metal band Rhapsody of Fire for 21 years. He later formed his own band Turilli / Lione Rhapsody with former Rhapsody of Fire guitarist Luca Turilli. He is also the current lead vocalist of Angra, and was the original singer of Labyrinth and Vision Divine.

Of Mice & Men is an American rock band formed in Costa Mesa, California, in 2009. The band's line-up currently consists of drummer Valentino Arteaga, guitarists Phil Manansala and Alan Ashby, and bassist and lead vocalist Aaron Pauley. The group was founded by former lead vocalist Austin Carlile and former bassist Jaxin Hall in mid-2009 after Carlile's departure from Attack Attack!. Carlile departed from the band in December 2016 citing that a long-term health condition prompted his exit. After Carlile's departure, the band continued to pursue creating music with Pauley as the band's bassist and lead vocalist.
Fellsilent were a British heavy metal band from Milton Keynes. They possessed a technical, polyrhythmic style, similar to bands such as Meshuggah and Sikth. The band also focused on some melodic elements. They released their debut album The Hidden Words in 2008 which gained immediate popularity among metal fans. Touring with other British bands such as Enter Shikari and Exit Ten helped them to gain further popularity. In 2008, Fellsilent signed to US record label Sumerian Records.
First Signs of Frost is an English post-hardcore/tech rock band from South East London. Forming in July 2004, the four piece originally conformed by songwriter / guitarist and vocalist Owen Hughes-Holland along with guitarist Adam Mason, bassist Dan Oehlman and drummer William Gates. After embarking on numerous tours the band made a significant impact on the UK's underground rock scene.
Rise to Remain was an English, London-based heavy metal band formed in 2006 and disbanded in 2015. The band made appearances at Download Festival, Sonisphere Festival and extensively toured the UK and Europe. The band released three EPs, the majority of which were "viral" releases, via their MySpace. On 16 March 2011 they signed their first major recording contract with EMI records, which was accompanied by the launch of their website and a free single download entitled "The Serpent". Their debut album, City of Vultures, was released on 5 September 2011, nearly a year after they had started work on recording the album. It was produced by revered metal producer Colin Richardson and Carl Bown. In 2014, the band released a new single entitled "Over and Over", which would be their last musical release.
What Separates Me from You is the fourth studio album by American rock band A Day to Remember, and their third and final for Victory Records. Originally planned for release in late-October 2010, the album was delayed by a few weeks until mid-November. What Separates Me from You was released on November 15, 2010, in the UK, and on November 16 in the US. The album, which was recorded mainly at The Wade Studios in Ocala, Florida, from May to July 2010, was the first to feature guitarist Kevin Skaff. The album was produced mostly by Chad Gilbert, with help from Andrew Wade and the band's vocalist, Jeremy McKinnon. "All I Want" was released as the first single. It reached number 12 on the U.S. Alternative Songs chart and number 25 on the Rock Songs chart.

The band have released four studio albums, including Priorities (2012), Automatic (2015) and Technology (2018). Bury Tomorrow are a British metalcore band formed in 2006 in Southampton, Hampshire, England. The band is composed of six members; lead vocalist Daniel Winter-Bates, bassist Davyd Winter-Bates, drummer Adam Jackson, lead guitarist Kristan Dawson, who replaced founding guitarist Mehdi Vismara in 2013, rhythm guitarist Ed Hartwell, and keyboardist and vocalist Tom Prendergast, who both replaced Jason Cameron in 2021. Bury Tomorrow have released seven studio albums, their most recent being The Seventh Sun, released on 31 March 2023.
Me Vs Hero were a British rock band from Blackpool, Lancashire, England. The band consisted of lead vocalist Sam Thompson, bassist Michael Booth, guitarists Bobby Pook and Grant Berry and drummer Simon Smith. The band were known for their inclusion of hardcore punk and heavy metal influences to complement their pop punk sound. The band their self-titled EP in January 2009, followed by a second EP release entitled This One's for Our Friend in December 2009, and the following year the band released their debut album Days That Shape Our Lives.
Midasuno are a Welsh four-piece alternative rock band from South Wales. The band toured the United Kingdom and recorded three singles, an EP and three albums. The band are the subject of the road diary "Dial M For Merthyr" by the Welsh author Rachel Trezise.
