Exquisite Corpse is the debut EP by American alternative rock band Warpaint, self-released in August 2008 and subsequently re-released on October 6, 2009 on Manimal Vinyl.
Recorded in 2007, [2] the EP was mixed by current-Red Hot Chili Peppers guitarist John Frusciante, and features Red Hot Chili Peppers ex-guitarist Josh Klinghoffer performing drums on "Billie Holiday" and guitar on "Krimson".
Promotional music videos were produced for the tracks "Stars", "Elephants" and "Beetles".
Several of the songs on Exquisite Corpse predated the EP, with some written up to five years earlier. [2] Warpaint was initially formed in February 2004.
BBC Music positively reviewed the EP, especially "Billie Holiday", comparing Warpaint favorably to the British band The xx. [3] Sputnikmusic gave the album 3/5 stars, calling the record a "very accomplished" yet "unstructured" debut effort. [4]

John Anthony Frusciante is an American musician. He has been the guitarist for the Red Hot Chili Peppers across three stints, and has released 11 solo albums and 7 EPs, ranging in style from acoustic guitar to electronic music. In 2003, Rolling Stone named Frusciante the 13th-greatest guitarist of all time. He was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame as a member of the Red Hot Chili Peppers in 2012.

The album was written during the recording of By the Way (2002) by Frusciante's group The Red Hot Chili Peppers and is widely regarded as his most accessible work, featuring a mix of guitar-driven alternative rock, folk ballads, and electronica. Josh Adam Klinghoffer is an American musician best known for being the guitarist for the rock band Red Hot Chili Peppers from 2009 to 2019, with whom he recorded two studio albums, I'm with You (2011) and The Getaway (2016), and the b-sides compilation I'm Beside You (2013). Klinghoffer took the place of his friend and frequent collaborator John Frusciante in 2009, after a period as a touring member. At age 32, Klinghoffer was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame with the Red Hot Chili Peppers in 2012, making him the youngest at the time, and currently second youngest inductee ever, as of 2023.

Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Covers EP is EP compilation by American rock band Red Hot Chili Peppers, released in 2012 through iTunes as a digital-only download. The band first announced the EP through their website on April 19, 2012 with the title We Salute You, although it was changed on the date of the release. The EP consists of six cover songs, live and in the studio, of previous Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductees all who influenced the band. The EP was released to commemorate the band's own induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2012. All six songs have been previously featured on other releases by the band. Four of the six tracks had never been released digitally before.

Beyond the Door is the seventh album by American rock band Redd Kross, released in 2019 on Merge Records. It features guest appearances by former Redd Kross member Gere Fennelly, Buzz Osborne of The Melvins and Josh Klinghoffer of Red Hot Chili Peppers, plus songs written with Anna Waronker and Kim Shattuck. Redd Kross new members include drummer Dale Crover and guitarist Jason Shapiro. Beyond the Door features nine original songs plus cover versions of the title track from the 1968 Blake Edwards/Peter Sellers comedy The Party and the Sparks 1994 dance hit "When Do I Get to Sing 'My Way'." Bassist Steven McDonald previously played with Sparks on their 2006 album Hello Young Lovers, as well as on the accompanying tour, which also featured Josh Klinghoffer, who plays lead guitar on the track.

The album features guest appearances from his Red Hot Chili Peppers bandmate Flea and his bandmates in the experimental rock band Dot Hacker, Eric Gardner and Clint Walsh along with appearances by former Jane's Addiction bassist Eric Avery and former Red Hot Chili Peppers and Pearl Jam drummer Jack Irons. Klinghoffer previously released the single "Io Sono Quel Che Sono/Menina Mulher Da Pele Preta" under the Pluralone name.
