Extreme Hearts is an original Japanese anime television series created and written by Masaki Tsuzuki,the creator of Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha and Dog Days ,directed by Junji Nishimura and animated by Seven Arcs,which aired from July to September 2022.
In the near future,a trend in the sporting world is Hyper Sports,in which various sports are played with advanced equipment that enhance the player's abilities. One of the popular Hyper Sports leagues is Extreme Hearts,managed by a music company and composed of female idol groups across Japan.
After being released from her record label,failed artist Hiyori Hayama gets invited to join Extreme Hearts through her fan Saki Kodaka. Not wanting to give up on her music industry dreams yet and despite her inexperience with Hyper Sports,Hayama accepts the invitation and enlists the help of Kodaka and Sumika Maehara (later joined by Yukino Tachibana and Lise Kohinata). Together,they form the idol group RISE and their goal is to make it big in Extreme Hearts.

The original project created by Masaki Tsuzuki was originally announced on January 20,2020 at the 15th anniversary concert of Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha ,although it doesn't directly confirm whether it would be related to Nanoha franchise or not. [8] The title of the original project would eventually be revealed on May 20,2021 as a new series, [9] which was later revealed to be an anime television series on February 10,2022. Junji Nishimura is directing the anime at Seven Arcs,with Tsuzuki writing the scripts,and Effy composing the music. [10] Original character designs are provided by Waki Ikawa,while Issei Aragaki adapts the designs for animation. Aragaki and Kana Hashidate are serving as chief animation directors,and Shuichi Kawakami and Takuya Fujima drafted the sub-character designs. [1] The series aired from July 10 to September 25,2022,on Tokyo MX and BS11. The opening theme song is "Infinite" by Miho Okasaki, [11] and the ending theme is "Sunrise" by RISE. Crunchyroll streamed the series outside of Asia. [12]

Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha is a Japanese anime television series directed by Akiyuki Shinbo, with screenplay written by Masaki Tsuzuki and produced by Seven Arcs. It forms part of the Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha series. The Japanese Association of Independent Television Stations broadcast 13 episodes between October and December 2004. The series is a spin-off of the Triangle Heart series and its story follows a girl named Nanoha Takamachi who decides to help a young mage named Yūno to recover a set of 21 artifacts named the "Jewel Seeds".
Junji Nishimura is a Japanese anime director and producer currently residing in Karatsu, Saga. After graduating from Meiji Gakuin University in 1980, Nishimura entered into the anime studio Nishiko Production. Nishimura had his first job as a producer for Baldios in 1980, and went on to be in charge of production in other series such as Six God Combination Godmars, and Magical Princess Minky Momo in 1982. An episode of Urusei Yatsura he directed in 1982, "After You've Gone", was voted the favorite episode of the TV series by Japanese fans. In 1984, Nishimura resigned from Nishiko and in 1985 had his director debut with Pro Golfer Saru. Since then, he has worked as the director on many anime produced by Studio Deen, notably Ranma ½ and Kyo Kara Maoh!. In 2019, he was named as director of a new anime series, Vladlove, about a girl vampire that was written by Mamoru Oshii and financed by Ichigo Inc.
Whispered Words is a Japanese yuri manga series written and illustrated by Takashi Ikeda. It was serialized in Media Factory's seinen manga magazine Monthly Comic Alive between March 2007 and November 2011, and was compiled into nine tankōbon volumes. A canon Drama CD musical spin-off was released on 23 Dec 2009, titled The Longest Day of Sumika. The series has been licensed in North America by One Peace Books. It was adapted as a 13-episode anime television series produced by AIC that aired between October and December 2009 on TV Tokyo. The series, which is set in a co-ed high school, is about Sumika Murasame, a 15-year-old girl who is secretly in love with her female best friend, Ushio Kazama. Ushio likes girls too, but is only into "cute" and "small" girls, while Sumika is tall, good at sports, and outgoing rather than shy.
Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha ViVid is a Japanese manga series written by Masaki Tsuzuki and illustrated by Takuya Fujima. It is part of Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha franchise, taking place four years after the events of Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha StrikerS. The series began serialization in Kadokawa Shoten's Comp Ace on May 26, 2009. An anime television series adaptation produced by A-1 Pictures aired in Japan from April 3 to June 19, 2015. A spin-off original anime project by Seven Arcs Pictures, titled ViVid Strike!, aired between October and December 2016, featuring a new pair of protagonists.

Ruriko Noguchi is a Japanese voice actress from Fukuoka Prefecture who is affiliated with Arts Vision. She played her first main role in 2020 as Sally in Bofuri.
