Texas are a Scottish alternative rock band from Glasgow. They were founded in 1986 by Johnny McElhone and Sharleen Spiteri on lead vocals. Texas made their performing debut in March 1988 at the University of Dundee. They took their name from the 1984 Wim Wenders movie Paris, Texas.

The group had originally been a quartet with Zena McNally who left in January 2001.

The sextet achieved major success with hit singles "I Believe", "Do You", "Heaven Must Be Missing an Angel", "Hot Temptation", and their first album Never Forget (2002).
Sandy Mölling is a German singer and television personality. She rose to fame as one of the members of the girl group No Angels, which were formed in 2000 on the German television talent show Popstars, becoming one of the best-selling girl groups of European origin of all time. During their hiatus, Mölling released a solo album, Unexpected (2004), which produced the top ten singles "Unnatural Blonde" and "Tell Me", and became a judge on the fourth season of Popstars.

Elle'ments is the debut studio album by German girl group No Angels. It was first released by Polydor–Zeitgeist and Cheyenne Records on 12 March 2001 in German-speaking Europe. After winning the inaugural season of the reality talent contest Popstars in late 2000, Polydor consulted a small team of German-based musicians to work with the quintet, including Thorsten Brötzmann, Peter Ries, Leslie Mándoki, and Peter Plate. Elle'ments is a pop record with an inclusion of styles such as dance, R&B, latin and rock. Conceptually, the album centered on the idea of the classical elements, and during that time was compared to English girl group the Spice Girls' Forever (2000) era.

Created through the ProSieben talent show Popstars – Das Duell (2003) in which pop groups of both genders competed against each other, Overground won over girl band Preluders in a public vote. Their debut single "Schick mir 'nen Engel" became a number-one hit in Austria, Germany and Switzerland, while parent album It's Done (2003) reached the top spot in Germany and Switzerland and was eventually certified platinum by the Bundesverband Musikindustrie (BVMI).

Temptation is the debut studio album by German girl band Monrose. It was released by Starwatch Music in association with the Warner Music Group and Cheyenne Records on 8 December 2006 in German-speaking Europe, following the band's formation on the television talent show Popstars – Neue Engel braucht das Land. Pre-recorded with all six finalists of the sixth Popstars season throughout October and November 2006, jury member Dieter Falk produced the majority of the album and collaborated with producers like Jiant, Marcus Brosch, Jonas Jeberg, Toni Cottura and Marc Mozart and his Mozart & Friends team. The album is primarily a dance-pop record with influences from many the hip hop, contemporary R&B, and Europop genres.

He was awarded New Thinker of the Year, given by Spotify as an innovation prize. Christopher released four albums, the debut Colours (2012), followed by Told You So (2014), Closer (2016) and Under the Surface (2019). Christopher's songs include "Against the Odds, "Nothing in Common", "Told You So", "CPH Girls" and "I Won't Let You Down".
Got7 is a South Korean boy band formed by JYP Entertainment. The group is composed of seven members: Jay B, Mark, Jackson, Jinyoung, Youngjae, BamBam, and Yugyeom. Got7 debuted in January 2014 with the release of their first EP Got It?, which peaked at number two on the Gaon Album Chart and number one on Billboard's World Albums Chart. The group gained attention also for their live performances, which often include elements of martial arts tricking and street dancing.
Trine Randbo Jakobsen (born 29 September 1977) is a Danish singer, actress and television presenter. Trine became known when she along with Michael Teschl won Dansk Melodi Grand Prix 1999 and got to represent Denmark in the Eurovision Song Contest 1999 in Jerusalem with the song "Denne Gang". The duo sang the English version of the song "This Time I mean It". In 2001, she participated in the first season of Popstars which was broadcast on TV2.
All Saints are an English-Canadian girl group formed in London in 1993. They were founded as All Saints 1.9.7.5 by music manager Ron Tom, who later also founded Sugababes, with members Melanie Blatt, Shaznay Lewis, and Simone Rainford. The group struggled to find commercial success upon being signed to ZTT Records and were dropped by the label shortly after Rainford left the group. In 1996, the group were joined by Canadian-born sisters Nicole and Natalie Appleton and signed to London Records under their shortened name.
