Lalduhoma is an Indian politician and a former Indian Police Service officer from Mizoram. Resigning from the security service to the Prime Minister Indira Gandhi,he was elected as Member of Parliament to the Lok Sabha from Mizoram in 1984. He left the Indian National Congress,the party from which he was elected,for which he was disqualified from the parliament. He became the first MP to be discharged upon anti-defection law in India.

Mizo Zirlai Pawl is a Mizo multinational student organization and apex students body in Mizoram state. Established on 27 October 1935 in Shillong by Mizo earlier educated students. Originally as the Lushai Students Association (LSA),which was later replaced with the "Mizo Zirlai Pawl" on 1 September 1946. As Mizoram State government notified MZP raising day 27 October was observed as "Zirlaite Ni" from 2008 in Mizoram. It was registered as SR No. 35 of 1969–70 under Indian Societies Registration Act. Its general headquarters is in the state capital of Mizoram,Aizawl. And it has 12 headquarters inside and outside of Mizoram state,such as Churachandpur,Behliangchhip,and in Mizoram state - Serchhip,Biate,Champhai,Darlawn,Kolasib,Mamit,Zawlnuam,Saitual,Lunglei and Khawzawl. It has 50 Sub-Headquarters and many branches.
Robert Romawia Royte is an Indian politician from Aizawl,Mizoram. He has been elected to the Mizoram Legislative Assembly 2018 from Aizawl East - II Constituency,and is currently Minister of State in the MNF ministry and holds the portfolios of Sports and Youth Services,Tourism and Information and Communication Technology.
Zoramthanga is an Indian politician who is the Chief Minister of Mizoram. He is the president of Mizo National Front (MNF) party. He had served as the Chief Minister of Mizoram from December 1998 to December 2008,for two consecutive terms. He was second-in-command to Laldenga during the secession movement of Mizo National Front,and became the successor as the party leader,after MNF was a recognised political party,following the death of Laldenga in 1990.

He resigned from Cabinet for allegedly holding 21.6 per cent share in Sunshine Overseas,a construction company,which was getting government contracts. He won Aizawl North 3 by winning 6,175 of the 10,916 votes polled. He is the brother of the former Chief Minister of Mizoram Lal Thanhawla. Touted by many as the Chief Minister in waiting,he was the Cabinet Minister for Health &Family Welfare,Information &Communication Technology,Information &Public Relations and assisted his brother the Chief Minister in Public Works Department and Power and Electricity Department in Government of Mizoram till 2018 when the General Assembly Elections were held and lost his seat in Aizawl North 3 to C. Lalmuanpuia from MNF party.
Aizawl North 3 is one of the 40 assembly constituencies of Mizoram a north east state of India. Aizawl North 3 is also part of Mizoram Lok Sabha constituency. It is a reserved seat for the Scheduled tribes (ST).
The legislative assembly election was held on 28 November 2018 to elect members of the 40 constituencies in Mizoram. Mizo National Front won 26 seats in the election. This was the first time that Congress does not have any government in any of the states in Northeast India.
Hnahthial district is one of the eleven districts of Mizoram state in India. The creation of Hnahthial District was first notified on 12 September 2008 but until 2020,it remained non-functional despite a number of promises made by top political leaders and an all-out effort by Hnahthial District Function Demand Committee to let the state government make it functional. Hnahthial district was made functional only 12 years later on 3 June 2019 with the creation of the office of the Deputy Commissioner.

He was elected to the Mizoram Legislative Assembly from Aizawl North 2 constituency in the 2018 general election as an independent candidate. He defeated Lalthanliana of Mizoram People's Conference,the then sitting MLA,H. Liansailova of Indian National Congress,and Laltlanzova Khiangte of Mizo National Front.
