FC Tavriya Novotroitske is a Ukrainian football club from Novotroitske, Kherson Oblast.
The clubs exists since 1936. [1] Beside football competitions in Kherson Oblast, the club also participates in friendly competition organized by SC Tavriya Simferopol, the Open Cup of AR Crimea Football Federation. [2] Prior to the start of the 2020–21 Ukrainian Second League the club merged with SC Tavriya Simferopol, this fusion continued to play under the original name of SC Tavriya Simferopol (in the 2020–21 Ukrainian Second League season). Sports Club Tavriya was a Ukrainian football club from Simferopol. Tavriya was a member of the Ukrainian Premier League from its founding and won the first Ukrainian Premier League making them one of three teams that have ever held this title.

The 2020–21 Ukrainian Second League is the 30th since its establishment. The football competitions in the Second League kicked off on 6 September 2020, about half a month after promotion/relegation playoffs. The planned 12th week of the season that accomplished the first half took place on 21 November 2020, yet the extra week was provided for few games that were forced to be rescheduled before teams retired for the winter intermission. The second half is scheduled to restart on 19 March 2021.
