History

The first FIP Florida Heritage Champion was crowned on March 10, 2007, when Erick Stevens defeated Roderick Strong in the finals of a one night tournament in Crystal River, Florida, at the Eddie Graham Memorial Battle for the Belts.

Jon Davis holds three records with the title: he record for most reigns at two, his second reign is the longest reign at 1,092 days, and he is the only wrestler to have held the title for a consecutive two years. Danhausen's second reign of 1 day is the shortest in the title's history. Davis also has the longest combined reign at 1469 days. Gran Akuma is the oldest champion when he won it at 38 years old while Chris Jones is the youngest champion at 19 years old.

Anthony Greene is the current champion in his first reign. He defeated Troy Hollywood at WWN Supershow: Battle Of The Belts on November 14, 2021, in Crystal River, Florida.

With The first being made by Reggie Parks in 1997, which was then retired and vacated in early 2012. The second version would then be made by Reggie Parks and Dave Millican for OVW. The current version however was designed and created by Top Rope Belts, and ended up being used from 2012 to the present day.

The IWGP Junior Heavyweight Championship is a professional wrestling world junior heavyweight championship owned by the New Japan Pro-Wrestling (NJPW) promotion. The IWA Mid-South Women's Championship is a women's professional wrestling title owned and promoted by the Independent Wrestling Association Mid-South professional wrestling promotion. The title was created on May 30, 2004, in a one night tournament titled "Volcano Girls" at the National Guard Armory in Hammond, Indiana co-promoted by IWA Mid-South Wrestling and NWA Midwest Wrestling. Until June 17, 2005, it was a joint championship with the NWA Midwest Women's Championship and was known as the NWA Midwest/IWA Mid-South Women's Championship. The championship is usually won and defended by women, although two men have once won the title such as Chuck Taylor and Lukas Jacobs. There have been a total of 24 reigns held between 17 distinctive champions and one vacancy. The current champion is Thunderkitty who is in her second reign.

The Jeff Peterson Memorial Cup was an annual professional wrestling memorial show produced by Full Impact Pro (FIP) promotion, typically between October and December. The event was established to honor the memory of independent wrestler "All American" Jeff Peterson who died at age 21 after a two-year battle with leukemia. A rising star in the National Wrestling Alliance at the time of his death, his home promotion NWA Florida held a memorial tournament, co-hosted by IPW Hardcore, presented by his friends and fellow Florida wrestlers. The first show was held on May 16–17, 2003, at the Florida WrestlePlex in St. Petersburg, Florida. It is the longest-running tournament in the Southeastern United States followed by CWF Mid-Atlantic's Johnny Weaver Memorial Tournament.

The Eddie Graham Memorial Battle of the Belts was an annual professional wrestling memorial show produced by the Full Impact Pro (FIP) promotion, typically held between February or March. The event was held in memory of Eddie Graham, longtime promoter of the Florida wrestling territory, the first held for Graham since the original Eddie Graham Memorial Shows in 1987-88. The event's title, in particular, was used as a homage to the popular "Battle of the Belts" supercards promoted by Graham during the 1980s. Mike Graham, Eddie's son and organizer of the original "Eddie Graham Memorial Show", opened for the show to speak about his father's legacy and introduced the FIP Florida Heritage Championship.
