Faber Edmond Chidarikire is the Provincial Governor and resident minister of Mashonaland West,Zimbabwe. He is a member of the ZANU-PF party and an ex officio member of the Senate of Zimbabwe. [1]
Faber Edmond Chidarikire's political career began in 1994 when he was elected executive mayor of Chinhoyi. He held this office for 4 years before stepping down.
Faber Chidarikire decided to go back to politics and in 2004 he was elected member of parliament for Chinhoyi. He held this office until 13 February 2009 when he was appointed Governor and Resident Minister of Mashonaland West Province.

Joice Runaida Mujuru,also known by her nom-de-guerre Teurai Ropa Nhongo,is a Zimbabwean revolutionary and politician who served as Vice-President of Zimbabwe from 2004 to 2014. Previously she had served as a government minister. She also served as Vice-President of ZANU–PF. She was married to Solomon Mujuru until his death in 2011 and was long considered a potential successor to President Robert Mugabe,but in 2014 she was denounced for allegedly plotting against Mugabe. As a result of the accusations against her,Mujuru lost both her post as Vice-President and her position in the party leadership. She was expelled from the party a few months later,after which she formed the new Zimbabwe People First party.
Raffingora is a small town in the province of Mashonaland West,Zimbabwe. It is located about 45 km north-east of Chinhoyi in one of Zimbabwe's leading tobacco growing districts.

Chinhoyi,known until 1982 as Sinoia,is a city in central northern Zimbabwe in the Makonde District. It has a population of 90,800 and is primarily a college town,although it was originally founded as an Italian group settlement scheme. The nearby Chinhoyi Caves and national park are a popular attraction.
Godfrey Guwa Chidyausiku was a Zimbabwean judge and politician. He was involved in politics during Rhodesia's unilaterally declared independence,being a member of the Rhodesia House of Assembly. After Zimbabwean independence he was elected as a Zimbabwe African National Union member to the Zimbabwe House of Assembly,and served in the government as Attorney-General. After becoming a Judge he headed the Constitutional Convention in 1999,and was appointed Chief Justice in 2001. He retired on 31 March 2017 after reaching the 70-year mandatory retirement age of Zimbabwean judges. He then died on 3 May 2017 in a South Africa hospital.

Chinhoyi University of Technology also known as CUT was established by an Act by the Parliament of Zimbabwe on 10 December 2001. It is located in the town of Chinhoyi in Mashonaland West about 120 km from Harare towards Lake Kariba and the Zambian border. It is among the first sights visible when approaching the town from Harare,across a bridge to the Chinhoyi General Hospital. The CUT hotel is located adjacent to the main campus.

Tabetha Kanengoni-Malinga is a Zimbabwean businesswoman and politician. She was the Minister of State in the Office of Second Vice-President of Zimbabwe Phelekezela Mphoko from 2015 to 2018. Previously,she served as Deputy Minister of Sports,Arts and Culture from 2013 to 2015. She was the Member of Parliament for Mazowe Central from 2013 to 2018. She is a member of ZANU–PF,and previously held leadership roles in the party's youth and women's leagues.
