Fabrice Colas (born 21 July 1964) is a retired French track cyclist who competed at the 1984 Summer Olympics in Los Angeles, winning a bronze medal in the 1000 metres time trial. [1] He also competed at the 1988 Summer Olympics. Colas also won silver medal in the professional sprint and bronze in the keirin at the 1991 UCI Track Cycling World Championships. [2]

He competed at the 2006 Commonwealth Games in Melbourne where along with Tim Gudsell, Hayden Godfrey and Marc Ryan he won a bronze medal in the Team pursuit.

Frédéric Magné is a French former track cyclist. Magné was the world champion in keirin in 1995, 1997 and 2000 and in tandem in 1987, 1988, 1989 and 1994, each time with Fabrice Colas. He also rode at four Olympic Games.
Laurine van Riessen is a long track speed skater and track cyclist, who currently rides for UCI Track Team BEAT Cycling Club. She competed for the Netherlands at the 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver in the 500, 1000, and 1500 metres and won the bronze medal in the 1000 metres. In 2015, she switched to track cycling and won a bronze medal in the team sprint at the 2015 UEC European Track Championships in Grenchen, Switzerland.
José Antonio Villanueva Trinidad is a Spanish former track cyclist. Villanueva specialised in the sprint disciplines, where at world championships level he was won a silver medal in keirin and a bronze and a silver medal in team sprint. A few years after his initial retirement from competitive cycling, Villanueva returned as a sighted pilot in tandem track cycling at the 2012 Summer Paralympics, winning a silver and a bronze medal.

The men's track time trial cycling event at the 1936 Summer Olympics took place on 8 August and was one of six events at the 1936 Olympics. Nineteen cyclists from 19 nations competed, with each nation limited to one competitor. The event was won by Arie van Vliet of the Netherlands, the nation's first victory in the men's track time trial after two consecutive silver medals in 1924 and 1928. Pierre Georget's silver put France on the podium for the third time. Germany earned its first medal in the event with Rudolf Karsch's bronze.

The event was won by Fredy Schmidtke of West Germany, the nation's first victory in the men's track time trial and the third consecutive Games in which a German cyclist won. Curt Harnett earned Canada's first medal in the event with his silver, while France returned to the podium for the first time since 1968 with Fabrice Colas's bronze.
