The tenth season of the Syfy reality television series Face Off premiered on January 13, 2016. This season marked the return of the judges' power to save an artist from elimination. The grand prize for the fifth season is a VIP trip from Kryolan to one of their 85 locations, a 2016 Fiat 500, and $100,000. Rob Seal of Lake View Terrace, California was declared the winner of this season on April 13, 2016.

The thirteenth season of RuPaul's Drag Race premiered on January 1 and concluded on April 23, 2021. The cast was announced via Twitter on December 9, 2020. The competition is broadcast on VH1 in the United States and showcases 13 new queens competing for the title of "America's Next Drag Superstar". VH1 renewed both RuPaul's Drag Race and its spin-off RuPaul's Drag Race All Stars for a thirteenth and sixth season respectively on August 20, 2020. Beyond the Edge is an American reality competition television series that premiered on CBS on March 16, 2022. Participants live in the Panamanian jungle of the Bocas del Toro Archipelago for 14 days and compete as teams to raise money for charitable organizations. A different charity has been chosen by each celebrity. Each participant can opt to leave the competition and go home at any time. At the end of the two weeks, the two stars who have earned the most money for their respective charities face off in a final challenge to determine the top earner, and winner of the competition. The series is hosted by Mauro Ranallo.
