Impetigo was an Illinois-based grindcore and death metal band. They were among the first bands to use clips from films and other media as intros for their songs.
Ultimo Mondo Cannibale is the debut album by American band Impetigo. It was released in 1990 and was a major influence in the grindcore and goregrind scene. It is one of the first albums to use sound segments from horror films as intros for their songs. Another of the first bands to use this technique is Spanish grindcore band Machetazo.
Welcome to My Nightmare is a 1976 concert film of Alice Cooper's show of the same name. It was produced, directed and choreographed by David Winters. The film accompanied the album, the stage show by the same name and the TV special Alice Cooper: The Nightmare, the first ever rock music video album, starring Cooper and Vincent Price in person. Though it failed at the box office, it later became a midnight movie favorite and a cult classic.

Rec is a 2007 Spanish found-footage horror film co-written and directed by Jaume Balagueró and Paco Plaza. The film centers on a news reporter and her cameraman covering a firefighter intervention at an apartment building in Barcelona. What began as a routine emergency assignment escalates into something far worse as a deadly virus spreads among the building's occupants, turning them into bloodthirsty cannibals; escape is impossible as the government has surrounded the building to prevent the virus from spreading beyond it, and the pair continue to record the events that unfold inside, of which the film itself is the final result.
