Facundo Ferrero (born 5 March 1995) is an Argentine footballer who plays as a goalkeeper for Nueva Chicago on loan from Sarmiento. [1]
Ferrero's career began in 2012 with Primera B Nacional team Deportivo Merlo, he appeared on the club's substitutes bench throughout 2012–13 in matches against Almirante Brown, Gimnasia y Esgrima and Rosario Central but was unused; Merlo were relegated in that season to Primera B Metropolitana. [1] Ferrero made his professional debut on 25 May 2014 in a home league defeat to Fénix. [1] Over the next year, Ferrero played a total of nine more games for the club. [1] In January 2016, Ferrero joined Chacarita Juniors of Primera B Nacional. [1] Despite being on the bench nineteen times in 2016–17, Ferrero left in July 2018 following zero appearances. [1]
Primera B Metropolitana's Atlanta signed Ferrero soon after his release from Chacarita Juniors. [1]
Ferrero was selected by the Argentina U23 squad for the 2016 Sait Nagjee Trophy. [2] He featured in two matches, versus 1860 Munich II and Dnipro-2, as Argentina finished bottom of Group A. [3] [4] He also featured in a pre-tournament friendly against Deportivo Laferrere. [5]

2008–09 season of Argentine football was the 118th season of competitive football in Argentina.
The 2011–12 Argentine Primera B Nacional was the 26th season of second division professional of football in Argentina. A total of 20 teams competed; the champion and runner-up were promoted to Argentine Primera División.
The 2012–13 Copa Argentina was the fourth edition of the Copa Argentina, and the second since the relaunch of the tournament in 2011. The competition began on October 23, 2012. The tournament featured 224 clubs from the top four levels of the Argentine football league system. The winner (Arsenal) qualified for the 2014 Copa Libertadores and the 2013 Supercopa Argentina.
The Sait Nagjee All India Football Tournament was an invitational football tournament held in Kozhikode, Kerala. The tournament was very popular from the beginning and attracted large crowd since 1952. The tournament played until 1995, though with stoppages a couple of times. In 1995, the tournament was won by JCT Mills. Since then, there was a gap of 21 year during which the tournament was not held.
