Faizan Mustafa is an Indian academic and legal scholar. He is the former Vice-Chancellor of NALSAR University of Law, Hyderabad and the founding V.C. of National Law University Odisha (NLUO). [1] [2] He sits on the board of directors of technology incubator, the T-Hub. At present, he is the Vice-Chancellor at Chanakya National Law University, Patna.
He had graduated from Aligarh Muslim University in History and Law and later LL.M with distinction from Aligarh Muslim University. [3] He has his doctorate in Copyright Law and a diploma from International Institute of Human Rights on International and Comparative Human Rights Law.
Before taking charge as VC of National Academy of Legal Studies and Research (NALSAR) Hyderabad, he was the founding Vice-Chancellor of National Law University Odisha (NLUO), located at Cuttack, Odisha. He is also a former director of KIIT School of Law. Currently, he is the Vice Chancellor of Chanakya National Law University (CNLU) Patna.
Besides teaching and research works in the field of law, he has also authored several books and plenty of papers in national and international journals. He has been credited to explore new areas such as HIV law. [4] His article on religious freedom was quoted by the Supreme Court in the Sabarimala Judgement (2018).
He runs a Youtube channel with the name of Legal Awareness Web Series where he explains contemporary legal issues in simple Hindustani. He appears frequently on NDTV as a legal expert. He is a regular columnist for The Indian Express and The Hindu .
Mustafa is one of the most respected and internationally acclaimed legal scholar of India. He was awarded Renne Cassin Gold Medal of International Institute of Human Rights, Strasbourg, France in 1999. In 2009 he won Shah Waliullah International Award of Institute of Objective Studies, New Delhi for his paper on Constitutionalism in Islamic Perspective. He won the SAARC’s prestigious Best Law Teacher Award in 2014. A high-powered jury conferred this award on Mustafa, which was announced by N.R. Madhav Menon and Mr. Lalit Bhasin, President of Indian Law Firms.
Neelakanta Ramakrishna Madhava Menon was an Indian civil servant, lawyer and legal educator, considered by many as the father of modern legal education in India. He is the founder of National Law Universities system and first director of the National Law School of India University (NLSIU) and the National Judicial Academy, Bhopal and the founder-vice-chancellor of the West Bengal National University of Juridical Sciences (NUJS). He has also served as Chairman of Indian Statistical Institute from 2002 to 2003.

Amita Dhanda identifies as a feminist and has written several papers based in gender. She has authored three books and is also a guest writer for Kafila, along with few other online news magazines and national dailies. Her expertise also extends to Interpretation Of Statutes, which she holds repute for.
Talat Ahmad is an Indian Earth Scientist, former Professor at the Department of Geology, University of Delhi and served as Indian National Science Academy (INSA) Senior Scientist. He served as Chairman of Governing body which oversees Wadia Institute of Himalayan Geology, Dehradun from 1 December 2021 onwards and served the office till 30 November 2027. Previously, he commenced his second stint as Vice-Chancellor of University of Kashmir on 6 August 2018 and served the office till 20 May 2022. Before that, he served as Vice Chancellor of Jamia Millia Islamia, he resigned from the post a few months short of his full term. He was shortlisted by a committee constituted by the governor to shortlist a panel for the post. He had earlier taken over as Vice-Chancellor of University of Kashmir from Professor Riyaz Punjabi on 1 June 2011 and served there until the year 2014. Aligarh Muslim University Malappuram Centre or AMU-Malappuram Campus is one of the prominent educational institution of Aligarh Muslim University in the southern state of Kerala in Malappuram district, near Perinthalmanna at Cherukara. Mohammad Mohibul Haque, or Muhibul Haque, is a scholar and professor of international politics, Indian polity, minority rights and human rights at the Department of Political Science at Aligarh Muslim University. He was awarded President of India Dr. Shankar Dayal Sharma Gold Medal for Excellence during his studies. He speaks English, Hindi, and Urdu. Haque is also a writer and author of articles, research papers, chapters in edited books on socio-political issues. He has also authored a book. He has done research on the topic of The Rights of Minorities in India: The Role of the National Commission for Minorities.
