George of the Jungle is an American animated television series produced and created by Jay Ward and Bill Scott, who also created The Adventures of Rocky and Bullwinkle and Friends. The character George was inspired by the story of Tarzan and a cartoon characterization of George Eiferman drawn by a cook on his minesweeper in the Navy during World War II. The series aired first-run for 17 episodes on Saturday mornings from September 9 to December 30, 1967, on the ABC-TV network. Then, rather than commissioning new episodes, the network was content to repeat the 17 episodes, keeping George of the Jungle on its Saturday schedule until September 1969 when it moved to Sunday mornings until September 19, 1970.

The Sprout Sharing Show is a programming block on the Sprout cable channel. The show premiered on May 5, 2008, airing on daily afternoons in the lineup formerly occupied by The Let's Go Show. However, The Let's Go Show moved to a weekend lineup until September 2010. It features three new programs which encourage viewers to send in photos, videos, artwork, and stories. Programs and segments are introduced by the show's puppet hosts: Patty, Ricky, and Curtis E. Owl, whose first name and middle initial are a pun on the word "courtesy". Other characters include Patty's mother, Ricky's father and Curtis' younger brother, Otis, who plays the ukulele. It ended on May 11, 2014.

The narrative of the story is largely crafted by a group of preschoolers who appear in live-action segments interspersed between puppet-acted scenes. It is co-produced by Halifax Film and Decode Entertainment, both DHX Media companies, and produced in association with CBC Television. The series is broadcast in Canada on CBC Television on the Kids' CBC programming block, and in the United States on Sprout. In Latin America, it aired on Playhouse Disney in Spanish as Había una vez... en la selva poderosa.

Wishfart is a Canadian urban fantasy comedy animated television series created by John Hazlett, Lienne Sawatsky and Daniel Williams. The series was produced by Wishfart Productions Inc. in association with Nelvana and Corus Entertainment, with Bejuba! Entertainment holding worldwide distribution rights. The series first aired in the United Kingdom on CITV on 5 September 2017, and later premiered in its home country of Canada on Teletoon on 9 June 2018. The series follows Dez, a teenage leprechaun with wish-granting powers, as he goes on escapades with a puffin named Puffin and a centuries-old teenage ghost girl named Akiko.

It is the second film adaptation of the books The Tomten and The Tomten and the Fox by Astrid Lindgren, which are based on the poems by Viktor Rydberg and Karl-Erik Forsslund. The film was first broadcast on December 23, 2019 in Norway and on December 24 in Sweden as Räven och Tomten.

Big Blue is a Canadian animated television series for children ages 5 to 9 created by Gyimah Gariba and produced by Guru Studio. The series debuted on CBC Kids on December 4, 2021 in Canada, on Nicktoons on January 10, 2022 in the United Kingdom and on The Roku Channel on October 1, 2024 in the United States. The series follows Lettie, and her crew as the Calypso in United Current, with her brother, Lemo, pals Freddie and Phil and Bacon Berry, who might just be the one who can save the Big Blue. They go on missions and explore the ocean and must stop the splat of pollution, the Blegh, who can only be defeated by Bacon Berry, and discover why and how they can care for each other around any predicament.
An Aniform is a two-dimensional cartoon character operated like a puppet, to be displayed to live audiences or in visual media. The concept was invented by Morey Bunin with his spouse Charlotte, Bunin being a puppeteer who had worked with string marionettes and hand puppets. The distinctive feature of an Aniforms character is that it displays a physical form that appears "animated" on a real or simulated television screen. The technique was used in television production.
