Farhana Bhat is an Indian actress. She appeared in the 2016 film Sunshine Music Tours and Travels and in Imtiaz Ali's Laila Majnu in 2018. She was also a contestant in Bigg Boss season 19 in 2025.

Early life and education

Bhat was born on 15 March 1997 in Srinagar, Jammu and Kashmir. [1] She encountered the difficulties of a conservative upbringing in the Valley, where pursuing a career in acting or entertainment was frequently discouraged. [2]

She graduated from the Government College for Women in Srinagar with a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism and Mass Communication. She later enrolled in Anupam Kher's acting school Actor Prepares in Mumbai, and participated in theater workshops that focused on the traditional "Navrasa" (nine emotions).[ citation needed ]
