Khwaja Ghulam Farid or Khwaja Fareed (1845–1901) was a 19th-century Sufi poet from Punjab. He was a member of the Chishti Nizami Sufi order.
Sher Shah Suri, born Farīd Khān, was the founder of the Sur Empire in India, with its capital in Sasaram in modern-day Bihar. He competed at the age of 42 years, 246 days in 1952, and holds the record as the oldest Egyptian Olympic fencer. He also competed at the 1951 Mediterranean Games where he won a silver medal in the team sabre event.
